The publisher’s PR is called Stina Smemo, which is Norwegian. The anonymous author is, she tells us tantalisingly, a senior Tory. Hmmm.

Last week Guido emailed a flamboyant ex-Minister and ex-MP who once dated a Norwegian super-model to see if he has any idea who the author might be. Phillip Oppenheim has yet to get back…
