Guido is becoming worried at the lack of interest in the official party websites. So in an effort to boost their traffic he is investigating their functionality. Fascinating to see what happens if you key in “sleaze” into the search box on labour.org.uk.

I also learnt from Labour’s website that a few, so far untitled, multi-millionaires are “Proud to fund the Labour Party“. Besides luvvies like Star Trek’s Patrick Stewart and Eddie Izzard was an unfamiliar name – Hamish Sandison – a solicitor.

Who the hell is he? Guido discovered from Hamish’s own business website that he “advises clients in the public and private sectors on major IT projects such as procurement, outsourcing and e-business agreements, including PFI/PPP and other third-party financed arrangements… acting for UK Government departments and agencies, local authorities…”

Handy that he is a government supporter…
