Monkey Business in Islington

Guido ventured to Islington yesterday afternoon for a long lunch with Recess Monkey. He is a very busy boy. So few safe seats, so little time…

Pictured here looking wistful and amused reading The Little Red Book of New Labour Sleaze – to which he did not contribute. His totally unconvincing explanation for the complete absence of any juicy Labour party gossip on his blog is that he doesn’t know any. He was however kind enough to share with Guido the secrets of his success with women.

Favourite Monkey quote of the day “I bumped into Blair last time I was in No. 10. He just has soooo much charisma.”

I cannot support an indefinite backstop arrangement, where the EU holds a veto over our ability to exit…”
