Except Labour spin merchants were shopping this story around Fleet Street on Friday trying to spin it as proof that the Tories are guilty of influence peddling and cash for access. Marie Woolf at the Indy on Sunday bit and the Sunday Times’ Atticus column filled an inch with it.
