Abramoff at St Andrews

Many have pointed out to Guido that there is a British, or rather Scottish, angle to the Abramoff scandal. Tom DeLay had dinner at St Andrews with a few Tartan Tories in 2000. The Washington Post and the Scotsman dubbed it “Tartangate”. Disgraced DeLay is said to have also met Thatcher in London. Much of the $120,000 trip was charged to Abramoff’s credit card. Its not exactly Watergate.
