YouGov On The Money mdi-fullscreen
Old Davis got is so wrong on so many things, but when he said the Tories “are not an internet party” and the internet polls were wrong, he was dead wrong. Internet pollster YouGov got it spot on. They called it David Cameron 67%, David Davis 33%

What my friend Mike Smithson of PoliticalBetting.Com made on backing Cameron to win, he gave back after he put on as much as the bookie would allow on Cameron getting less than 66%. Cameron got 1% more than that. Ouch.

Guido took a bad hit betting in the last minutes of the elimination round that Fox would go through, made it back laying Davis after that aberrant Populus poll headlined in the Times. But all-in-all it was too much of a sure thing after the party conference to be worth much of a punt. Oh, and one Wat Tyler owes Guido lunch – at a venue which is the subject of a steward’s enquiry.
