Hero Worship

The David Davis for Leader blog has gone overboard with hero worship. The blogger even quotes Bonnie Tyler’s Holding Out For A Hero lyrics in a paean to Basher. (You know, the one that goes, “Late at night I toss and turn and dream of what I need” and so on). Its toe-curling, the chap is tragically awestruck at having actually met Basher in the flesh finally.

Guido fears this could go badly wrong, obsessive fans easily turn into psycho killers – ask Jodie Foster.

Quote of the Day

Rowan Atkinson tells The Times

“All jokes about religion cause offence, so it’s pointless apologising for them. You should really only apologise for a bad joke. On that basis, no apology is required.”
