Guido got an email from a usually reliably cynical source (who was one train away from the explosions in the City) saying Mayor Ken’s “freedom” speech brought a tear to his eye.

But Guido remembers another speech our mayor made in March this year, where he said “We are more at risk of dying from bird flu than we are from being blown up by any terrorist.”
