Guido’s weekly Backbencher email from the Guardian arrived in his inbox yesterday. Eagerly I read it from top to bottom to find out who won the Backbencher’s Political Weblog Awards which she had been promoting heavily for weeks. Strangely, there is no mention of the winner.

The polling closed on Monday, to coincide with the Guardian’s launch of its “me too” shiny new election blog. They must have announced the results there, so Guido makes a quick search. Errrr, seems, umm, not.

So Tom and Ros, tell us, in traditional reverse order if you like, who won the award?
