At last we will see evidence of that vicious Tory minx challenger’s personal attack that pains our LibDem heroine so much. Guido searches the Tory leaflet high and low – front and back page – but no personal attack is found. Certainly not the “silly statement” claimed on the Romsey Redhead’s blog. But what is this on the back page, last column, half way down, about an inch square? Three surnames which I surmise to refer to John Denham, the Labour MP for Southampton Itchen, Alan Whitehead, the MP for Southampton Test and Sandra Gidley the current MP for Romsey. So the painful “personal attack” appears to be not personal and not really an attack, more of a question. Given that fatal MRSA rates have shot up 30% since 2003, its a good question.
All a bit disappointing really. Still at least we cleared one thing up, Sandra Gidley at best misquotes for spin, or at worst she just makes things up.
