Joe Murphy at the Evening Standard reports that the charming Alastair Campbell emailed Newsnight reporter Andrew McFadyen abuse when questioned by him about Kosher Postergate “Just spoke to trev. think tbwa shd give statement to newsnight saying party and agency work together well and nobody here has spoken to standard. Posters done by tbwa according to polotical (sic) brief. Now fuck off and cover something important you twats!”

Alastair Campbell is not having a good start to the campaign – he admits the pig posters were his idea not TBWA’s – Tim Allan (Campbell’s former deputy) admitted: “Judging by his email, it is time to disengage the Blackberry and re-engage the brain.”
