Veritas – Are they on to something?

Richard Vass, Veritas party chairman says “The British people are sick and tired of being lied to. They are fed up with being taken for granted and talked down to and patronised. They are fed up to the back teeth of being told what they can think and what they can say.”

He said the British people “want politicians that are open, transparent, straightforward and tell the truth”.

The main parties will mock the Orange One, but people are sick of being lied to by politicians, the LibDems should be staking out the ground as the party of truth, but they are so two-faced in local politics it is beyond them. In the U.S. Ross Perot’s Reform Party may not have done much good, but it denied Bush Snr the presidency. The Man with the Tan has a Plan. You never know…

Quote of the Day

Rowan Atkinson tells The Times

“All jokes about religion cause offence, so it’s pointless apologising for them. You should really only apologise for a bad joke. On that basis, no apology is required.”
