During the distant dark days of Thatcherite rule the Federation of Conservative Students produced posters with a saucy picture of a scantily clad woman in repose with the slogan “Its better under the Conservatives”. Maybe they were right, how else do you explain the poll result in the US for ABC TV’s Primetime:
- Of those involved in a committed relationship, who is very satisfied with their relationship?
- Republicans — 87%; Democrats — 76%
- Who is very satisfied with their sex life?
Republicans — 56%; Democrats — 47% - The poll analysis also reveals who has worn something sexy to enhance their sex life:
Republicans — 72%; Democrats — 62% - When asked whether they had ever faked an orgasm
26% of Republicans said they had, but at 33% more Democrats faked it.
So the Republicans have more sex fun. Looking at the Tories, those posh home-counties girls do seem a lot more fun than earnest gender-aware Blair babes. Is it the same over here? The Tories do seem to enjoy more sex scandals…
