Civil Partnership Bill mdi-fullscreen
Its not often that Guido refers to the detail of debates, but I thought I heard the future split line of the Conservative party cracking during the Civil Partnership Bill. Read it for yourself. The Tories are nowadays very much united on free enterprise, tax cuts and Euro scepticism – but on gay marriage or social liberalism they will be irreconcilable. The future fault line is there. Alan Duncan, John Bercow politely squared up to the likes of Anne Widdecombe, Edward Leigh and Alan Howarth.
