Diane “White People” Abbott’s Farage Race Row Hypocrisy

Diane Abbott has been on Channel 4 News this evening to say that Nigel Farage’s remarks on Romanians were racist:

“There’s no question that his comments about not wanting Romanians next door are racist. It’s a very chilling and classically racist line.”

Can anyone think of another politician who has generalised about an entire race and been condemned, then forced to apologise for making racist comments?

Maybe she was tired…

Diane Abbott’s Question Time Prep Leaked, Again

Out of Touch Diane Abbott Snobbishly Sneers at Constituents

Fresh from live tweeting Tony Benn’s funeral, sacked Shadow Health Minister and plain packaging advocate Diane Abbott was left completely stumped when asked for any evidence that the plain pack plan would work. She was blathering that government smoking and drinking policies were only being pursued in order to quell support for UKIP. It was a bizarre moment:

The reason Abbott had nothing to say was because the evidence on plain packs is very shaky, as Christopher Snowdon has exposed here.

Leaving the science aside, how many people in Hackney drink beer and smoke? Once again Abbott’s nasty out-of-touch elitism is on full display. But what can you expect from a socialist who charges £2,000 an hour for her outside interests?

Is Diane Too Good for Hackney?

20140311-085418.jpg

20140311-085710.jpg Part-time MP Diane Abbott had some well-earned time off from her TV career recently when she jetted off on a freebie to Antigua, while parliament was sitting. Her constituents shouldn’t worry about her burning out though, Diane is taking another day off in a few weeks on another junket, this time to the world famous 150-year-old five star Beau Rivage hotel in Geneva. Swiss businessmen with more money than sense can pay £100-a-head for lunch with the Labour MP, all thanks to the British-Swiss chamber of commerce. Anyone would have thought Diane doesn’t fancy hanging around in Hackney…

Does Sadiq Khan Trust Labour on Race?

Labour London mayor hopeful Sadiq Khan is busy trotting out his new favourite line that the Tories are all a bunch of racists, using the example of one loony councillor to justify his “I don’t trust the Tories on race” dog whistle:

For some strange reason Sadiq had nothing to say about this loony Labour councillor of similar standing in his own party, who was suspended for sending a racist email about Muslims. Or the Labour councillor accused of distributing racist leaflets about her Asian opponent. What about the Labour grouping that accused its local party of institutional racism? Or the Labour peer who resigned after making anti-Semitic comments. Not to mention the Labour MP who was forced to apologise for sending a racist tweet. Let alone the Labour MP who was accused of stirring up race hate to win votes. Does Sadiq only see racism when it he can use it to score political points?

Labour Friends of Venezuela Endorse Tyrant Maduro
Praises Violent Regime as “Progressive”, Dismisses Protesters

Labour Friends of Venezuela, a group backed by Labour MPs Diane Abbott and Grahame Morris, has today come out in support of the country’s violent President Nicolas Maduro. Despite the arrest of Venezuela’s opposition leader, the killing of protesters and expulsion of foreign journalists, the group’s loony chair and former Labour MP Colin Burgon spins:

“This ongoing majority support for Venezuela’s progressive, elected government that has driven this current wave of anti-democratic, right-wing violence in the country. This has been initiated by an element of Venezuela’s right-wing opposition that has grown frustrated with its own repeated electoral failings.

The current violence from elements of the right-wing stems from the announcement in January of a strategy of opposition protest leaders for the La Salida (The Ousting) of the government of President Maduro before his constitutional mandate ends in 2019… In contrast, the government has repeatedly condemned all violence and called for peace and talks with the opposition.”

An analysis completely rejected by numerous human rights organisations in the past few weeks. That “progressive” socialist government which he says has “condemned all violence” is in truth killing protesters in the street. Does Labour support the position of this vile affiliated group?

Free Speech Campaigners Slam Labour’s Venezuela Hypocrisy

The likes of Diane Abbott, Owen Jones, Grahame Morris et al are the first to speak up about human rights abuses committed by allies of western governments. Freedom of speech campaign group Index on Censorship has condemned those same Labour loonies for their double standards of refusing to condemn the state sponsored violence in socialist Venezuela:

“The point of universal rights is that they are universal. It’s not a credible position to condemn the violence and rights violations of regimes you dislike and then to stay silent on the same actions carried out by people whose politics you support.”

For shame…
