Green Party Candidate in Sick Nazi Cancer Slur mdi-fullscreen

The Green Party candidate for Stalybridge and Hyde has scrubbed a sick cancer jibe aimed at Nigel Farage from her Twitter feed. Jenny Ross, who describes herself as a comedian, accused Farage of emulating Hitler after the UKIP leader lost a testicle to cancer:

The true face of the hard left… when she’s not campaigning for the Greens, Jenny helps produce some of that excellent BBC comedy.

Guido is trying to reach out to Jenny, to no avail thus far, but a representative Tameside Green Party was shocked when this tweet was put to them, saying:

“Oh my God! I’m a bit worried about this. She works part time as a comedian and sometimes she doesn’t know where to stop… I’m sorry about this… It’s not the sort of thing we encourage.”

Comment from the National Party pending…

UPDATE:

A Green Party spokesperson said:

“We condemn the language used by Ms Ross. It is neither appropriate or constructive to use this kind of inflammatory language. Our party will fight the vicious rhetoric espoused by Farage but we will not do so by making this kind of offensive remark. We expect an apology from Ms Ross and an internal investigation of her actions is already underway.”

UPDATE II:

A source close to Nigel Farage said:

“Ms Ross should probably resign her candidacy and donate her deposit to a cancer charity.”

UPDATE III:

Ross has responded:

“No surprise Kippers don’t like dark humour…”

Put the spade down.
