Sky News Stop Charlie Hebdo Writer Showing Mohammed

This is the moment former Charlie Hebdo writer Caroline Fourest showed the front cover depicting Mohammed tonight, only for Sky News to cut away and apologise. Yikes.

Labour Defector: Cameron is “Strongest and Best Leader”

First Labour faced accusations of union vote-rigging in Ilford North, now the constituency’s former CLP chairman has defected to the Tories. Sanjib Bhattacharjee says he can no longer defend Miliband and Balls and says David Cameron is the “strongest and the best leader”. Sanjib warns:

“I believe that Labour Party is constantly failing to address main concerns of our people.”

He is now backing Tory MP Lee Scott to win the seat. Something of a blow Labour’s highly personable candidate Wes Streeting…

Theresa May Thinks Something Might Have Happened

Theresa May has told the House of Commons that while she doesn’t really know whether it’s true or not, the Charlie Hebdo shooters where probably located by tracking their communications data. Because the Home Secretary feels like something might have happened, it is now apparently necessary for the government to listen to our phones and see our Snapchat naughty pics.

“It is too soon to say for certain, but it is highly probable that communications data was used in the Paris attacks to locate the suspects and establish the links between the two attacks. Quite simply Mr Speaker, if we want the police and security services to protect the public and save lives, they need this capability.”

Because policy based on intuition always works out well…

PMQs SKETCH: Cameron ‘Frit’ of Farage, Not Miliband

gallery_guido (2)

Eye witnesses in the press gallery had PMQs as a Miliband walkover, but television – reality, that is – told a different story.

You can tile up a number of screens on top of BBC Parliament and watch – say – lesbian spanking porn while listening to Ed’s voice and you can try turning over the words “Prime Minister Miliband”.

And it’s true – he has an engaging private voice. It’s got texture. It’s got a second, lower register. He can easily, gently, get down there. “Down there where the money is,” as Bing Crosby, the crooning seducer, had it.

And when he uses this voice, as he did, to talk about the Paris massacres… To put it as strongly as possible: I don’t deny it’s not impossible to think of Miliband as a prime minister.

But before the lesbian delinquents had been properly corrected, Ed had finished with Islamic maniacs threatening our civilization and started in on the TV debates.

Face flying, finger working, eyes darting to and from his script, mouth ballooning, and the voice wailing up into the altosphere.

Prime Minister Miliband. Suddenly it’s like Unsinkable Ship. Something that’s impossible, and if it does happen, sinks.
