David Ward, the disgraced LibDem MP who was shamed for his rant against “the Jews”, has said that were he a Palestinian he would fire rockets at Israel:
“I think it’s gonna be a long, long time, before David Ward comes back again…”
UPDATE: A Labour spokesperson says “This is a vile tweet.”
UPDATE II: The LibDems have now condemned their MP. A party spokesperson tells Guido his comments are “vile and crass”.
UPDATE III: Tory chairman Grant Shapps: “Appalling: No MP should tweet what’s essentially incitement to violence. Mr Ward must withdraw now. Completely irresponsible.”
UPDATE IV: Tory source: “He is a determinedly appalling man who says deliberately awful things, over and over again. You know, a Lib Dem.”
UPDATE V: The Fink last year wrote to Nick Clegg that “Mr Ward will make another offensive remark, probably worse than this one. It’s just a matter of time.” The LibDem leader ignored him…
UPDATE: VI:
Suspension isn't right for David Ward. He needs to be kicked out of the party tonight. Risks debasing Parliament by remaining. @nick_clegg

Surely this time he'll have to go RT "@DavidWardMP: The big question is – if I lived in #Gaza would I fire a rocket? – probably yes"
