ROCKET MAN: LibDem MP Backs Hamas Terror Attacks

David Ward, the disgraced LibDem MP who was shamed for his rant against “the Jews”, has said that were he a Palestinian he would fire rockets at Israel:

“I think it’s gonna be a long, long time, before David Ward comes back again…”

UPDATE: A Labour spokesperson says “This is a vile tweet.”

UPDATE II: The LibDems have now condemned their MP. A party spokesperson tells Guido his comments are “vile and crass”.

UPDATE III: Tory chairman Grant Shapps: “Appalling: No MP should tweet what’s essentially incitement to violence. Mr Ward must withdraw now. Completely irresponsible.”

UPDATE IV: Tory source: “He is a determinedly appalling man who says deliberately awful things, over and over again. You know, a Lib Dem.”

UPDATE V: The Fink last year wrote to Nick Clegg that “Mr Ward will make another offensive remark, probably worse than this one. It’s just a matter of time.” The LibDem leader ignored him…

          Hi Jesus.

Good to see you back as you said you would return.

Yet even you Son of God are just like many people on here
getting a bit hot under the collar (pardon the pun to all Christian clergy )
as to what type of political system is operating in Israel.

I suspect that most Jews around the world ( the Diaspora) do not agree with the State of Israel and what it is doing in Palestine. That’s maybe why most Jews don’t live there and the fighting that’s been going on for decades
is a very good reason for avoiding the country.

They also do not believe that the USA and others should pay Israel for its
existence and provide arms and other military spending as if you look at the GDP of Israel and how it survives in a wicked world you would be hard pressed to get an answer as to how Israel earns it’s GDP. It might not be one you could believe as true – but that’s my opinion.

Don’t deliberately try to confuse people neither with the scare stories that
anti Israeli equals anti Jewish people. Zionism is politically very right wing and the vast majority of Jews I would think would not be. The Second World war and Pogroms in the East has produced countless left liberals and many many Communists in terms of progressive ( as opposed to reactionary) politics. Jews learning lessons from a terrible oppressed history.

Therefore before Netenyahu or John Kerry or your good selves speak out as if all Jews support Israel check the history.

There is enough ‘ Hysteria ‘ in the media without thoughtless emotional out bursts as it is.

Jimmy, that is an utter irrelevance. In much the same way as pictures of dead and injured Palestinians is. These are symptoms of a problem which have been evidenced since Israel fought the 6 day war in 1967 and conquered the territories now in dispute.

I take it the Munich massacre, the Lod airport massacre and many others are not enough evidence for you?

There is a Palestinian state on paper but not in reality. Perhaps some representaitive of the major powers,an ex PM of this country even, could take a leading role in progressing a solution. Someone who brokered such fine outcomes as he did in Northern Ireland,Iraq and Afghanistan.

Simply babbling on about the sysmptoms of the problem is a pointless distraction. Better to highlight the feeble attempts at political solutions on all sides. Rockets and Bombs are the easy solution. This problem needs something else, clearly beyond the wit of the international political classes to deliver.

Well no. Because the Israelis have got a decent anti rocket defencee system which todate has caused there to be negligible damage /injuries/deaths as it diverts the hundreds of rockets fired by Hamas at Vital targets to the nearby desert hinterland .

They will forever remain as glowing bright stars in the history of humanity, It is not the oppressive might of a super-power; but the spirit of man for justice and human dignity that prevails in the final analysis. It is obvious that the people of Palestine prefer death to preserve their honour and their human dignity vs. life under abominable humiliation and indignity.

If only the people of past concentration camps in recent history acted the way Palestinians are doing under the leadership of Hamas; modern history would have seen much less barbarity, aggression and dehumanization and would have saved our imperialist ruling class of the West from the ignoble shame that is burdening them now.

There are 1.8 million of them in Gaza? And only a couple of hundred of them killed so far in this latest overdue, very highly selective defensive action? And there would have been far fewer dead if Hamas had not forced women and children to stand in the areas being targetted. Hardly Genocide is it? The west killed about 100,000 in Iraq.

I guess the lefty apologists for terrorism should come back when tens of thousands are being killed.

The other thing is, that actually, The IDF forces are actually acting in the Gazan’s best interests. The Gazans tell us that it is better to die a Martyr and gain paradise, than to live. So the IDF are only doing what the Gazan’s want.

He is clearly dissapointed that he was not martyred and feels like a failed Muslim.

The Gazan Muslims are taught by their leaders that the highest honor for a Muslim is to be martyred, and upon their holy death, they will recieve paradise. It is the greatest prise in all of Islam.

This means that they actually and genuinley crave being killed to the extent that they will even strap explosves to themselves and blow themselves up, or fire hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of rockets into the neighbouring country forcing them to retaliate. And when that retaliation comes, with highly selected targets, and with many warnings of where the missile will land, (in order to warn locals to get out of the way) …what do they do? Dozens of them rush to where the missile is targetted to ensure that they are killed.

They behave exactly as people who genuinely WANT to die. So those people from the neighbouring country are actually being kindly neighbourly friends of Gaza and delivering the death and paradise that the Gazan people crave.

It is a shame so many lefty liberal idiots cannot recognise that blatant fact.

Yes, that is the clincher. More killed every week in Syria for two years
than have been killed in Gaza since 4th July. Just because it is Muslims killing other Muslims plus Christians there it is not a cause worth the kind of demonstrations we have seen over Gaza. It seems there is the usual cultural relativism at work.

Tony Blairs Escape From Michael Crick Scuppered By Insolent Lift

      http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2014/07/22/tony-blairs-escape-michae_n_5608965.html

It’s a reasonable question – why, with all that is happening in Gaza right now, is the Middle East Peace Envoy in a swanky London building celebrating 20 years since becoming Labour leader?

Tony Blair was questioned on just that point on Monday by Channel 4’s political correspondent, Michael Crick.

In a painful yet beautiful moment reminiscent of ‘The Thick Of It’, a valiant attempt to ignore the reporter’s questions was scuppered by an uncooperative lift.

    Arabs are Semites too says:

Despite the chorus of condemnation from the grown-ups who guide us proles in what opinions to have, an awful lot of people agree with Mr Ward.
It’s not anti-Semitic – remember Arabs are Semites too. It’s about the immature aggression from Israel that can’t ever lead to a solution.

Israel/Palestine is one of the places in the world that has always been in most need for a UN military presence separating the two sides; and a separation of Jerusalem from either state such that it becomes a special city-state like The Vatican. Cramming all those arabs into a small space and trying to lock them in, isn’t particularly constructive, and it shouldn’t be much of a surprise that they fire rockets – what else can they do? there are no jobs there.

NOT vile; NOT crass; as usual, the Establishment and the Media are out of touch and trying to direct the debate in favour the most wealthy/powerful lobby group, just as with the Ukraine v Russia situation – always picking the wrong side.

David Ward is right about one thing. The West must make up its mind which side it is on. This is not a matter of right and wrong. All that matters is which side you would prefer as winners. If the Palestinians won it would be another Islamic nail in our coffin and a Middle East solidly united against the friendless West.

But if that what it takes to get the world of humans talking and thinking about this problem of ours, rather than blanking it…Swift gave us a clue, with a tale of two nations fighting to extinction over which was the right end to open an egg. Maybe it needs outsiders to pose queries concerning what seems perfectly obvious to the protagonists. When these fighters find out that they all have slightly different explanations for what this is all about, they may realise that isn’t a credible circumstance. That they are where they are, because nobody ever questioned their appreciation of reality. Nor suggested that they do something similar for themselves. For then they might believe their own answers, or lack thereof.

I want to see RBS bank officers arrested and facing trial. I want to see Osborne facing a genuine grilling. I want to know what evidence against Becky Redtop the cops held back. I want to know when somebody powerful is going to ask Mayor Johnson why his capacious bum is still sitting upon progress in the Elm House “investigation”. I want a law officer to ask the Mayor why he turned the office recorder off when meeting with Murdoch and Brooks three years ago. I want BoJo to explain why the next day he was all over the media saying phone hacking was “just a lot of left wing poppycock”. I’d like him to explain why, at the next Met Police steering committee, he was on the record as saying phone hacking investigations were a low priority and should be abandoned. I want the cps to tell me why a tape exists in the public domain in which Rupert Murdoch is clearly audible threatening revenge upon the Metropolitan Police.

But mainly what I’d like is an Opposition Party demanding these things, and showing some evidence of backbone as opposed to spineless double-speak and over-think. Miliband and Balls will change nothing….because as I keep insisting, this is a culturo-constitutional problem, not a political one. copyright The Slog.
