Sacked O-Patz Trolls Climate Change Campaigners
Former Environment Secretary to Deliver GWPF Annual Lecture

It didn’t take long for Owen Paterson to take advantage of being freed from the shackles of high office. The axed Environment Secretary is to deliver this year’s annual lecture at the Global Warming Policy Foundation, the climate sceptic group and scourge of lefty climate change activists chaired by Nigel Lawson. One for the diary…

Up till now no one thought any rebels/nutcases anywhere had access to sophisticated radar guided missile systems.

It’s not like Russia doesn’t have form for this. They authorised and supplied terrorists in Rhodesia with shoulder launched missile. They shot down 2 passenger airliners in the 1970s then murdered the survivors of Air Rhodesia flight 852 as they emerged from the wreckage.

That plane came from the Health and Safety EU where you can’t even stack a supermarket shelf without doing courses and obtaining certificates for working at heights. And to route an aircraft through a war zone where aircraft are shot down every week is not bleeding “routine”.

To comply with EU intentions to form an integrated EU Defence Force, which, though no longer reported on, remains an ambition of Federalists there, we now have our newly named aircraft carrier, “HMS White Elephant”. Being powered by diesel and gas turbines, it requires more refuelling and covering escort vessels than the Royal Navy can provide. It lacks the capability to use fixed wing aircraft, and is limited to vertical take off aircraft – which won’t be available until 2020. In the meantime politicians need to find some useless purpose for it before it is quietly sent somewhere for disposal as part of our Foreign Aid contribution in kind.

Ukraine does have the capacity to shoot down civilian airliners and the HAVE used it before.

      http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siberia_Airlines_Flight_1812

Siberia Airlines Flight 1812 crashed over the Black Sea on 4 October 2001, en route from Tel Aviv, Israel to Novosibirsk, Russia. The plane, a Soviet-made Tupolev Tu-154, carried an estimated 66 passengers and 12 crew members. Most of the passengers were Israelis visiting relatives in Russia. No one on board survived. The crash site is some 190 km west-southwest of the Black Sea resort of Sochi and 140 km north of the Turkish coastal town of Fatsa and 350 km east-southeast of Feodosiya, Ukraine. Ukraine admitted that the disaster was probably caused by an errant missile fired by its armed forces.[1]

As more and more of the world’s 7 billion (and rising) people demand a Western standard of living, which means an ever increasing demand for energy and mineral resources coupled with a finite dwindling supply, it doesn’t take a degree in rocket science to predict the future of the human race as soon as demand outstrips supply.

    1. Resource wars breakout (some of which could go nuclear).

    2. Governments try to enforce rationing leading to riots.

    3. Governments ban and confiscate all motor cars, commercial airliners etc in order to prioritise remaining fuel for mechanised agriculture (combine harvesters and tractors).

    4. Mechanised agriculture eventually grinds to a halt and mass starvation ensues.

    5. Only about 1 in 50 people survive to end up living a feudal agricultural existence, exactly as we did before the industrial revolution.

    6. The human race remains in this state until we are wiped out by a passing comet/asteroid or the Sun becomes too hot for life on Earth.

    Game Over!

There are already signs that the tipping point (demand exceeding supply) has been reached for oil & gas.

    1. Fracking for gas is gathering pace worldwide.

    2. The USA is dipping into its oil reserve.

3 Oil rich Arab countries are pumping seawater into their wells to extract the last dregs.

    4. All UK households must by law have smart meters fitted by 2020 (ready for government monitoring and rationing etc).

Oil floats, you see. Pump some of the oil out, pump in some water, water sinks to the bottom, oil floats up to the top so you can carry on pumping it out. There’s nothing especially remarkable about it. They’re doing the same in the North Sea oil field, which is also on its last dregs.

Every country maintains an oil reserve. It would be a bit awkward if the entire country ground to a halt because the next shipment had been held up. I believe the USA’s would keep the country running for a couple of days.

And the Americans have developed fracking on such a massive scale that it’s brought energy costs crashing down. Many American businesses which had outsourced processes to China and Taiwan are finding that fracking makes it worth their while bringing them back to America (meanwhile, the Brits are still arguing about people’s water bursting into flames!). The USA is confident that it will be self sufficient in its energy needs in a few years, something it hasn’t been in decades.

        FROM WIKIPEDIA:

Germany’s renewable energy sector is among the most innovative and successful worldwide. The share of electricity produced from renewable energy in Germany has increased from 6.3 percent of the national total in 2000 to about 25 percent in the first half of 2012.[1][2] In 2011 20.5% (123.5 TWh) of Germany’s electricity supply (603 TWh) was produced from renewable energy sources, more than the 2010 contribution of gas-fired power plants.[3][4] During the first six months of 2014, approximately 31% of German electric power came from renewable sources, mainly wind and solar; this was more than came from brown coal.[5] In 2010, investments totaling 26 billion euros were made in Germany’s renewable energies sector. Germany has been called “the world’s first major renewable energy economy”.[6]

For some years now I have noticed that at the Last Night of the Proms one will see hardly a single brown face. The same is true at almost all of our fine museums, theatres, historical sites, country-houses or Remembrance Day services.

“I received more death threats in a few months at Defra than I ever did as secretary of state for Northern Ireland.”

Flight Watch says:

Russia Today is a cauldron of bullsh*t. The only people that take it seriously are deluded conspiracy theorists. Other RT journos have resigned citing the same reasons.

It’s about as believable as Press TV, KCNA of North Korea or the Daily Mirror.
