I can coach them how to avoid jail by pretending to be depressed

  7. 7
    Sue de Nymme says:

Waste of time and money – the Establishment is riddled with them and they know how to protect themselves and dispose of evidence and, if necessary, witnesses . . .

  8. 8
    Anonymous says:

Great. Because no child has ever been abused whilst in NSPCC care, right?

  14. 14
    Carly says:

  15. 15
    Civil Servant says:

“114 files destroyed, missing or not found”
The politicians dance around the issue. From the 50s onwards and certainly up to the late 80s, any – repeat any – instance of a politico messing about with little boys or girls was immediately referred on to the Security Service, on the basis that the public figure would be vulnerable to blackmail. The overriding need was the protection of the state against espionage; no one cared about the “victims”. The Box 500 Registry has been computerised (ie held on microfiche and searchable by keyword) since the early 80s. So the info is accessible with just a few key strokes……

  16. 16
    Mycroft says:

The real test is not her words, it is that little bit about “…terms of reference” their extent or rather (I suspect) the strict limitation of them that will show this as genuine or a white-wash.

  17. 17
    David Blunkett says:

  18. 18
    Dave Millhouse Cameron says:

There will be no whitewash at the shitehouse.

  19. 19

  20. 20
    The Singing Oyster says:

Dave may as well of worn a Richard Nixon face mask and declared “There will be no whitewash in Westminster” for all we believe it.

  21. 21
    Rubbish.. says:

That’s it then, another £20million spend and all is ok nothing happened, carry on nothing to see and the politicians wonder why the public detest them.

  22. 22
    Mr Smith says:

    I didn’t see that coming!

  23. 23
  24. 24
    Anon says:

….”Can you hear the sound of “falling masonry”?………..

  25. 25
    Anonymous says:

Who does the referring and to whom? Hopefully not by and/or to paed0es.

  26. 26
Fucking cunts the lot of them says:

They really ALL are utter, utter, utter scum.

The only justice and retribution that the public would ever secure would be by inssurection.

  27. 27
    Sir Nob Skelpoff says:

So, which of the fuckers is to be thrown to the wolves?

  28. 28
  29. 29

The BBC wonks must be shitting themselves

  30. 30
    Socialism Ate My Future says:

So labour are turning a cross party issue into a sling mud at the cons / libs exercise (no doubt Watson has briefed the labour Borg IMO)

Quite disgusting how they can do this when a current lord (allegedly) and Hodge aren’t so squeaky clean themselves.

  31. 31
    Jaqui Smith herself says:

“May, the worst Home Sec in living memory” !!!!- what utter tripe!

it was ME, by a country mile
    Jaqui Smith.

  32. 32

  34. 34
    Ashamed to be British says:

I heard that the Ministry of Paedos, the Church of Paedos and the Houses of Paedos were investigating the British Broadcasting Paedos. They expect to be inhibited by another breakout of reversible Alzheimer’s.

  35. 35
    Dangerous Brian says:

Vaz involved at Richmond, Islington & PIE, Glass houses, stones.

  36. 36
    Ziz says:

    Exept Eton of course.

  37. 37
    Norma Stitz says:

The Home Office is the very, very last place to handle this investigation, and Cameron must know it. There is no appetite to properly investigate this sewer, despite his weasel words.

  38. 38
    Mephistopheles says:

The BBC shits must be wonking themselves.

  39. 39

Did I ever tell you I saw an alien once?

  41. 41
    Carly says:

Is it Lord J who the mirror are referring to today? I don’t think it is because he wasn’t a Minister in TBlair Gov, was he?

  44. 44
    Ssssh says:

    I like big black cocks

  45. 45
    dai enquiring says:

    are you kidding – mrs?

  46. 46
    AJC says:

It seems very likely that a Home Office cabal going right back to PIE (and beyond?) still exists, or still has influence.

The Wanless review should certainly not be serviced by any current, or past, member of the Home Office.

  47. 47
    Ripley says:

“114 files destroyed, missing or not found”.. and of course if you were handing over sensitive documents to someone named in those documents, you wouldn’t keep a copy. Or was the photocopier broken that day?

  55. 55
    Hugh Janus says:

FFS! Another truckload of money we don’t have to be spent on another interminable enquiry that will exonerate the guilty (as long as they are in positions of influence and high office), conclude nothing and from which all the “lessons to be learned” won’t.

I’ve just seen a large bulk carrier steam over the horizon with a cargo of lime to make the whitewash with.

  56. 56
    Sir Cyril says:

Im dead and so is Jimmy! Ha ha ha!

  57. 57

  63. 63
    Simon says:

Send me a PM for more info

  64. 64
    Javelin says:

When Max Clifford was charged at court there were a couple of guys outside accusing politicians of child abuse. It was posted on youtube – the videos are still there despite Max Clifford asking for them to come down. Those videos were not removed but they were not publicised. The few thousand hits were from lawyers and coppers. I was dating a CPS lawyer at the time who told me took at them.

If you follow the trail you will find that they are saying children were procured for string fellows VIP area. The videos also mention a Tory dinosaur who is a Europhile.

It’s worth 10 minutes of your time searching “max Clifford court pedophile”. There was also a scuffle outside the court and Max Clifford’s Barrister took a punch to the head. Which he brought up with the judge – and the judge shrugged his shoulders. So you could also search for scuffle or fight out side the court.

  65. 65
    Reimer says:

Presumably the terms of reference of the mutiple various inquiries will cancel each other out in a classified report after taking a decade-plus to get properly underway.

  66. 66
    Sir John Chilcot says:

I’m available to undertake a far-reaching inquiry that’ll reach its conclusions long after everyone has retired and safely got their index-linked pensions.

    Call me!

    Peter Wanless, according to wiki:

‘and Principal Private Secretary to three Cabinet Ministers.[5] including Michael Portillo,’

Can you think of anybody who’s surname begins with ‘P’ and ends on ‘ortillo’ who has appeared in Scallywag.

  68. 68
    Tony, world statesmen says:

I’m happy to put on the public record, absolutely equivalently, that I’ve received extremely costly legal advice not to put anything on the public record. Thank you.

  69. 69
UKIP the voice of reason says:

CEO of the NSPCC? A few million bung from the cartel and a whitewash is as good as in the bag.

Why didnt the NSPCC investigate the original accusations or do anything about the dossier they must have known about at the time?

Obviously the searching gaze of the NSPCC only went as far as the little people while the big fish of the establishment were left alone.

The crony ridden client infested establishment cartel looking afters its own and closing ranks to protect the evil in their midst.

The establishment investigating the establishment and will no doubt find nothing and shortly afterwards millions of pounds will find its way into certain pockets.

  70. 70
    A civil servant says:

Nothing so lo-tech, dear boy. For emergency use only we have metal bins with a thermite-charge core. Stuff in the paperwork, pull rip-cord, run away.

    Nuckfuts McGibbons says:

  77. 77
    Nuckfuts McGibbons says:

Expect the drug dealers up and down the country to be well stocked over the next few months, gotta keep those mongs subdued. if the public rally could comprehend how far this scandal actually reaches they would be storming parliament and tearing the scum limb from fucking limb. If only we had a decent tradition of political reporters and bloggers to keep this story in the spotlight. Maybe Guido could do it? Rumor is the reason this is breaking now is old uncle Rupert is exacting his revenge for the hacking trial and for Blair reaming that slant bird he was throwing his old lumpy Aussie beans up.

Bill Maloney interviewing a chap called Fey who was a social worker and has extensive knowledge of what was happening in children’s homes is worth watching. Shocking revelations. Mr Fey names names.

  88. 88
    Taxfodder says:

Home Office Inquiry = The Standard CRUDE and BLUNDERING WHITEWASH.

A full and thorough inquiry = Control and Damage limitation by those most in peril of discredit (or as the CIA would coin it…Plausible deniability).

and if the electorate ain’t fooled…….a token scapegoat blood letting.

And if all else fails….pray for a good day to bury bad news.

  89. 89
    Anonymous says:

“Theresa May Announces Inquiry: Statement in Full”
Thank goodness for that. Because the whole thing was becoming a bit confused. At the last recap it appeared to be: Vote For Dave, and get an EU referendum, and no parliamentary paedophile inquiry. Not that satisfactory a situation. Because leaving the police to pick up the pieces is all well and good. But it they could do that without the files, what was the point of ‘losing’ them? Having said that, we could always advertise for all those survivors who have been interfered with by the establishment, to come forward yet again.

  90. 90
    Wotak Hunt III says:

Look you know as well that this is going to be swept under the carpet as the consequences dont even bear thinking about…we are talking about the potential disintegration of the ruling masses who are more depraved then the lowlife that they claim to be above. How the Home Office can lose 114 files and no one has served any jail time is staggering. So while Dave can sound all appealing on TV saying the usual claptrap he has a track record of doing sweet nuck all and we all know it. Funny how the likes of Hacked off & Harman & Dromney have all gone quiet on this affiar… do they have something to hide. The fact that a lot of Leon Brittains “mates” have jumped to his defense before any concrete evidence has been showed states that there is no smoke without fire. The victims deserve justice but alas in this case only a few down the chain will get caught ……its the nature of the beast

Dan Hodges on Labour unity

“We’ve heard a lot over the past few years about how Miliband has united Labour. But he has not united Labour. He has pacified Labour. He has placed it into a medically induced coma following the trauma of the party’s 2010 defeat.”
