Hancock Victim: “It’s Disgusting That No-One Listened to Me”

Portsmouth News have further detail of the heartbreaking pleas made by a vulnerable young woman pursued by Mike Hancock that, as revealed by Guido in the Sun in January, were ignored by the government. “Annie” sent letters, under her real name, to Nick Clegg and the other party leaders, but never received a reply. In March 2011 she wrote to Clegg:

Speaking out this morning, “Annie” says:

“It angers me. It’s disgusting that no-one listened to me all those years ago. It’s a bit too late for them to jump on the bandwagon as I have been tormented for all of these years. I’m angry that some never even bothered to reply to me. The system of dealing with people with mental health problems needs changing. It’s terrible.”

We know the letter was received by Downing Street, but still her cries for help went unanswered…

This Lady has and is let down by the whole establishment. WHY? says:

This has to be the oddest thing to hit Westminster in years.

By Odd I mean the whole political class and the police did not take it seriously. And given the gravity of the case, neither has the media.

…this is the same Establishment who thinks it’s absolutely fine for MPs to cruise for gay sex on the web posing in only their manky underpants. Or to snog and to shove their hands down other men’s trousers while rat-arsed on subsidised booze and label those who disapprove as h0m0phobes.

          Well said Mornington.
Sadly a vulnerable child in Jersey has far less chance than a young woman in Portsmouth.

But Jersey is just a microcosm of the UK and this is a cross-party problem with a cross-party solution.

So… lets play ‘Having Influence’… a party game.

          It’s the 1960s there is a , it’s a time of liberty and fun.

The bloody big Corporation owns lots of cameras and has lots of men who carry them around.

They are hob-knobbing constantly in the presence of politicians, cops and the great and the good… and the not so good… and the odd snap is compromising.

The bloody big Corporation is also riddled with people who are also indulging in the sexual revolution… enthusiastically.

Now every day in the bloody big Corporation is Xmas, there is money, prestige and plenty of sex in the mix.

To expose all the wrong doing and in so doing change all of them from feasters at the Xmas table to the the feast itself was not going to happen.

It started with the Duchess of Argyll scandal, not Profumo, and it has simply continued.

          This way no-one gets roasted…

Unless someone gets nosey and actually doesn’t know about the sleight of hand… Savile was spiked once only to have another party unaware of the ‘arrangement’ went and blew it.

          60s and 70s… sex
          80s and 90s… cocaine/drugs
          00s and 10s… corruption/money.

The cause changes… but the failings and faults of humans is as predictable as our passing of faeces out of our bodies.

The sh’t storm we are in at the moment is because the bloody big Corporation has for a long time been constipated.

          • Well you may well be right on most or indeed everything you say Growler but if so things have changed from the Eighties/Nineties when even the riffest of the raff could write in to a Dept Or No 10 and the communication HAD TO BE be logged as a “Treat Official ” i e a minion would concoct a reply admittedly full of cliched flim flam but that letter nevertheless would need to be signed by the Minister /Sec of State responsible..

This document would then stand as an official line of policy or orientation on the particular subject matter involved and could be quoted in other forums as required.

Sad if this M O has now been “binned”.

This might be the REAL reason that the Establishment daren’t even think that a truly hostile takeover might happen. Whitehall could turn into Cairo on the celebrated “Ash Wednesday” when Army HQ started burning its records in anticipation of Rommel getting the Alamein Line.
