Green anti-fracking activists are working with Moscow to mount a campaign of disinformation to discredit fracking across Europe, claims Nato chief Anders Fogh Rasmussen. He says that Putin’s government is working with green campaigners to undermine the case for shale gas and maintain European energy reliance on Russia:

“I have met allies who can report that Russia, as part of their sophisticated information and disinformation operations, engaged actively with so-called non-governmental organisations – environmental organisations working against shale gas – to maintain European dependence on imported Russian gas.”

No longer is it “reds under the bed” taking Moscow gold,  the de-facto alliance means the Greens are in bed with the Kremlin…
