CPS: Let Her People Go

The CPS have released a jazzy video to mark their Margaret Thatcher Conference on Liberty that takes place tomorrow. The headline grabbing policy to slash corporation tax for small businesses is already getting the attention it deserves:

Guido will be there to celebrate Maggie’s favourite think-tank’s 40th anniversary – and he will stream it live here for those who cannot join.

“Millions of public servants drain State budget.” http://bit.ly/1kKqQ6d

A report from the Finance Ministry released a year ago suggested there were at least eight million people at all levels on the state payroll nationwide, including current staff, retirees and those who receive allowances and financial support due to past contributions.

In February, the Ministry of Home Affairs suggested gradual reduction of 100,000 public staff. It caused a huge public debate.

…..That means there’s one public servant for every 11 people.

        Even the Communists get it.

So we can’t do anything in case someone takes advantage?

How about this then. Starbucks , Amazon, Google, Specsavers etc pay NO corporation tax in the UK already as its all channeled through Luxembourg or Gurnsey.

Mr Singh’s 24 one-stop-shop, however, pays 20% as he doesn’t have a world class accountant and access to international taxation deals.

Believe it or not the last time something like this was tried it was by Gordon McShite himself – with CGT taper relief which was very encouraging for entrepreneurial start-ups etc.

The problem was as Mr Crypto-Communist Alfred points out that the CGT taper was used as a dodge by various hedge-fund types who rightly or wrongly are generally perceived to be less worthy of such largess.

Remember that meme run by the LibDems about the cleaning lady paying more in tax than the CEO of the hedge fund?

I was right to associate the pedlo exchange.
And I was right to not apologise for that.

And I was also right when I did apologise for that later on.

Basically ..I agree anything Labour does is right. And if it later turns out it was wrong then it was right to be wrong.

          • But the party I voted for before has not been up to standard.

That claim is made allowing for the fact that they had to go into coalition with the Liberal Democrats.

We are back to the days of 1960s consensus politics. Hell. Cameron even has a picture of MacMillan on his wall. That led to Wilson/Heath/Devaluation/IMF/Double-figure Inflation/Winter of Discontent.

It took Margaret Thatcher to reverse that long-travelled one way street. She was only able to unravel a third of it, an outstanding achievement for sure, but still leaving loads still to do.

Thirteen years of Labour followed by four years of coalition has led to a public debt unparalleled in history.

In a game of snakes and ladders, we have gone from 99 down to 1 again. All that good work and more undone…

That’s got to be the most biased article I’ve read in a long while. Any bets as to how many shares in Arms Companies that wanker owns (or his bosses do)? Any guesses how many of his own family are in the Military (and I don’t mean some REMF General or other)? Wankers like him, and his Lobbying buddies, have corrupted Democracy in the West. As for talking about freedom and Europe in the same sentence, I’ll treat that with the contempt that it deserves. If Germany wants to ‘get stuck in’, then I’d suggest the domineering Krauts (and their new EU hegemony) spend more money on their own Defense budget. They’re the ones who benefit the most form it. They export more Arms and Weaponry than the UK does! They should put their money where their mouths are. If not, they they should STFU. (AKA halt die fresse)
