Battle-Scarred Berger Bag-Carrier Honoured By Liz

Guido would like to offer his warmest congratulations to Sheila Murphy, who was bestowed the honour of becoming a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire by Her Majesty in the Queen’s Birthday Honours this weekend. A proud political activist, Sheila offered the most selfless of sacrifices to her Labour Party: devoting her life to becoming a parliamentary assistant to Luciana Berger. Presumably the MBE was for services to bravery and professionalism in the face of grave danger. She deserves all the medals…

      ….a bauble …a mere bagatelle .

She should have insisted on a Ladyship at the very least .

That way she would get the £300 a day attendance allowance at the “other place”

On reflection ” Baroness ….” has a nice ring to it ..

I’m pushed to think of a more pointless lifetime’s work with which to warrant inclusion on the Honours List.

Before long, they’ll be awarding an MBE to the most entertaining guest on each edition of “Come Dine With Me.”

In a world where Obama has a Nobel Peace Prize and John Prescott a visiting professor I don’t think we should give too much store to an MBE given to some low-ranking political functionnaire with the courage to say ‘YES’.

How dare white male Guido criticise an empowered career woman like Ms Berger? He is just continuing double standards and is a part of patriarchy that enables r.a.p.e. culture.

Can’t you see that accusing her of doing something wrong is the same as apologising for r.a.p.e.? It is part of a spectrum and you are no different from the white male racist who murdered 6 humans – TWO OF WHICH WERE WOMEN – in California. Trigger warning. Patriarchy.

    So what…………

more importantly our Dave has lost to Merkel, to Germany, to the EU, to the European Parliament and as we know what the europhobes and our Dave are always consistently telling us; it’s so vitally important to stay in the EU to fight our corner!

‘Die is cast’ for Jean-Claude Juncker to take the EU’s top job as defeat looms for David Cameron

Alas true, Cameron does this little PR shuffle now on all EU issues where he wants to appear tough. He comes out with some ‘We’ll fight them on the beaches’ statement that grabs the media agenda for the next week or so and then he quietly lets it drop when it becomes clear the EU owns our beach, has just declared it unfit for holiday makers to use and will now charge us to clean it up.
Don’t be suprised Dave will do anything to stay in the EU so making a few pointless tough sounding statments is nothing.

Even the dimmest of the dim knows that no British PM (especially a bluffer like Dave that has shown his hand) will ever get any concessions from the EU elite. Yet they still vote Tory. And now Dave wants Albania added to the list of those people (including 75 million Turks) who can come and live here. Who are the loonies?

A friend of mine has just returned from charity work in Albania (they helped to get a school and hospital fitted out) there can be no sane reason to have them in the EU other than to keep the pressure on the low/no skill work force in this country. By all means help them build up their economy and infrastruture but EU membership will simply create a mass exodus of their young and able. Same with Turkey (one of Boris’s pet projects) there is no justification to expand the EU further.
