TORY WARS: May v Gove – Everything You Need to Know

Following the escalation last night of tensions first reported by Guido back in April, the Cabinet has this morning descended into open warfare over extremism in schools. Theresa May has written to Michael Gove to publicly question DfE’s handling of the Trojan Horse Islamic schools takeover plot. In a terse letter the Home Secretary asks:

“Is it true that Birmingham city council was warned about these allegations in 2008? Is it true that the Department for Education was warned in 2010? If so, why did nobody act?”

It is clear to me that we will need to take clear action to improve the quality of staffing and governance if we are to prevent extremism in schools. The publication of a code of practice for supplementary schools was an agreed Extremism Task Force commitment and we agreed at the conclusion of the ETF’s work that the code should be voluntary.

However, since the publication of the ETF report in December there have been serious allegations of extremism in some Birmingham schools and accusations about the inability of local and central government to tackle the problem effectively.

In this context, I am not convinced that a voluntary code is sufficient and I believe it would be sensible to include the option of developing a mandatory code in your consultation document.”

A source close to the Education Secretary tells Guido in response:

“Michael Gove thinks Theresa May is a superb Home Secretary. We will continue to work well with the Home Office and other government departments to combat extremism in all its forms. Ofsted will publish their findings next week and Peter Clarke will publish his report in July.”

Clarke is the anti-terror chief brought in by Gove to investigate links between the radical Islamist individuals allegedly involved in the plot, an appointment approved by No. 10. Gove supporters are publicly trying to cool tensions with May, while laying the blame at the door of Charles Farr, the Home Office Security and Counter Terrorism chief who they accuse of ignoring extremism until it becomes violent. Farr is a close ally of the Home Secretary, and even closer to her Special Adviser

Fact is both Tories & Labour are terrified of confronting the fifth column of 7th century intellectual fascism they have allowed into Britain.

They only now realise that their multi-cultural experiment & mass immigration has led to the future Balkanisation of the UK.

See Tower Hamlets for a future peep at what surrendered territory within our own UK borders actually looks like – then look at the critical mass of communities in so many other places in the UK – & at what just happened in those areas at the so called “ballot boxes”.

France has no time for “multiculturalism” and does not go down that road because it creates a multinational nation. So, no special privileges, no unique handouts and no to “affirmative action”. UK governments are scared of muslims and in Labour’s case, need their votes.

Go on the rampage in France and the heavily paramilitary Gendarmerie will have a good day and no hand wringing afterwards.

TRUE – Tower Hamlets could prove to he a future microcosm of all Londonistan.
Also it must be true that Muslim extremism is in our schools, not only in Birmingham, but I suggest London, Manchester and other northern cities.
      Why do I say this?
Because the CEO of Birmingham Council and his Council say it is NOT true, and they did so at a stage before investigations even started.
It is proving difficult to believe that in the 21st century such incompetent people are given ANY responsibility or accountability.

This morning on Sky News there was a piece from a Manchester school on the proposed changes to exams. There were about eight pupils in the classroom only one of whom was a non-hijab wearing Mancunian. Without irony Sky News then reported on extremism in Birmingham schools. More support for UKIP is probably the unintended consequence of both reports.

Anyone know who is running this country?

It seems it is the DM.

They have now taxed us for using plastic bags.

Can I just give one simple example. I sailed around the world. To do that you create your own water from sea water. This requires “filtering” 10 times what you use through a filter that only allows 5um particles through.

The inlet is just below the surface.

At no time was there any plastic found in any of the filters.

The only plastic encountered off shore was agricultural wrappings, oil canisters etc, and fishing rope and line.

Another EU victory. Now we have shoppers placing dirty bags that have been on the ground, on what used to be cleaned supermarket surfaces.

Dog poos on ground. Bag goes on ground. Bag goes in trolley. Bag goes on sides. Food goes in trolley, Food goes on sides. Food goes in Fridge. Food is eaten.

Who thought this through? A while ago the conveyor had to be cleaned at Sainsbury’s due to engine oil from the bottom of a bag!

It is a complete and utter lie that supermarket carrier bags last one thousand years. They are made of UV degradable thin film and degrade within 12 to 18 months.

Otherwise our hedgerows would be full of plastic bags from the 70s and they are not.

Yet another example of politicians ignoring the science and chasing the popular vote.

Now the woven long life bags they want us to use instead, they do last for ages, especially when kept in the dark in landfill.
