The curse of Swindon strikes again. Dougie Alexander has been telling the BBC all about Labour’s “progress” there this morning:

“In Swindon we actually are making progress. If I was Anne Snelgrove, Labour’s PPC in Swindon this morning, I’d be significantly more optimistic.”

Except Labour actually now have fewer seats in Swindon than they did yesterday. Swindon Labour leader and radio star Jim Grant is admitting they have had a shocker. Turns out he wasn’t doing such a good job after all…
