Ed Meets Some Tories mdi-fullscreen

Poor Ed. First he kicked off his tour of the country today by visiting a cafe in Bedford, where the owner revealed that “I find the Conservatives are more pro-business”. Then he went to a brewery in Bedford, where one of the bosses says “The move by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, to not only abolish the duty escalator but to actually reduce duty was a welcome one, allowing the Group to pass the 1p saving on to our brewery pub licensees”. Surely Ed’s afternoon trip to Doncaster to campaign on zero-hour contracts can’t possibly go wrong? He better ignore the fact that Labour-run Doncaster council employs 300 people on zero-hour contracts, mind. Another good day on the stump then.
