Telegraph Towers are reeling from the terrible news that their highly personable political powerhouse Tim Wigmore is leaving them. Buckingham Palace Road will have a tough time replacing the invaluable insight and astute political acumen that Wigmore brought to Ben Brogan’s morning email. Not to mention his renowned charm and people skills.

He is off to the Staggers, presumably being lined up for George Eaton’s old job running the blog there, and will be replaced on Brogan duty by Stephen Bush, who has written for LabourList, Progress and the Guardian. Must be one in, one out for lefties.
