Quote of the Day

The Sun on Chris Huhne:

“Huhne dug his own Grand Canyon . . . and still he keeps shovelling.

The crooked Lib Dem got his wife to take his speeding points, then cost taxpayers a fortune denying it right up until the last-minute confession for which he was jailed.

He now bleats that he could have dodged justice if only his wife’s lying friend Judge Constance Briscoe — a witness in his case — had been exposed earlier by her own profession.

The deluded fool believes this was an internal cover-up akin to the Stafford Hospital scandal. Yes, the scandal where 1,200 people died.

Huhne broke the law and was rightly punished. He needs to move on and count his few blessings.

Such as having newspaper pals still prepared to peddle his self-pitying tripe.”

He would have gotten away with it…if he hadn’t have committed a crime in the first place.. what a steaming little shameless turd he is.

“And I’d have gotten away with it too, if it hadn’t been for you pesky journalists!” as Scooby-Doo didn’t say.

But hey, let’s implement Leveson in full. Subject the press to government oversight. It’s not like a cabinet minister would pull strings to ensure none of them reported his excesses. Absolutely not!”

But the Sun are right though, Huhne was, is, and will remain a lying little turd, whose undeserved support by the BBC and Guardian is sickening and makes law abiding people shudder.

        He should STFU.

That is why Huhne is a Liberal Democrat. It is also one of the powerful reasons why nobody is going to vote for his Party. Not one shred of humility.
