    Dot Cottons fag says:

Why did you change the photo, previous one wasn’t derogative enough. You’re an establishment arsewipe Guido old boy.

  11. 11
    wallawall says:

For fuck’s sake, you’re such an establishment shrill now Guido.

Exposed for having bizarre views? You mean his view that it’s not for the state to instruct and/or force free men to have certain opinions on homosexuality? That free men might choose to dislike certain people?

I guess in order to keep being paid by them you have to kiss the Sun’s arse but really this is pretty low stuff (as was the Sun’s deliberately misleading editorial on the matter).

  12. 12
    Mickey Jackoff says:

The euro-gravy train, just keeps on a rollin’
so it really dont matter if you black or white left or right.

  13. 13

Helmer’s been making a name for himself recently and it suits Farage perfectly if Helmer is seen to fail or those skeletons are exposed and he’s humiliated in public.

no one wants to go into hte the past.
either let go or let go.
either let go of the past or let go of what you have at present.

  27. 27
    jimmy lives says:

True, at this rate Guido’s going to have to start tagging his own articles with “Twat watch”. Really didn’t think this blog would join in with trying to demonise UKIP and democracy in such a transparent and pitiful way.

Has Guido been paid? Or does he simply lack the intellectual confidence to go against the establishment Press?

  28. 28
    UKIP jobs for Italians says:

Guido does a good line in humiliating politicians. Can’t see why UKIP should get a pass here.

Helmer’s ripe for repeated laughter. Did you know he employs an Italian to run his office in Brussels! You couldn’t make it up!

  29. 29
    Max to the Max says:

I for one, shall not be voting

  32. 32
    Spartacus says:

    Tomorrow accusations of racism.
    And that’s just gwido.

  33. 33
    jimmy lives says:

    You’re missing the point.

He employs an Italian. OK. Cameron and Milband want millions of foreigners to move to Britain.

Now who has the weird or strange views?

To avoid this issue the press have concentrated on trying to trick UKIP members into revealing forbidden views – for example on gay marriage where they largely agree with President Obama from 3 years ago but that view is now forbidden. Then they talk about it endlessly to try to make people feel bad for voting for UKIP.

It’s dumb, shallow and transparent. It might work though because all the media do it. Then even Guido joins in. So we have to ask, is he being paid to do it? Was it explained before the Sun started paying him that he had to provide favourable links to their controversial stories etc?

In particular Guido used to have a fairly libertarian streak, he would have known that it’s wrong for the state to be involved in how people think. Now suddenly he goes 180 degrees and says that believing in personal freedom is “bizarre”.

  35. 35

  39. 39

+1 I think this is a crafty move to put Helmer in the line of fire. He’s been appearing more and more in the media and Nigel Farage will want to take him down a peg or two.

  40. 40
    JohnRotten says:

Anyone know where we can have a look at Helmers euro expenses?
    Link plz.

  41. 41
    Richard Bulpham says:

Freedom usually means live and let live. If you don’t want gay marriage, don’t marry a gay! People like Helmer try to meddle in people’s lives, he wants the state to sanction approved kinds of marriage and rule against others. The opposite of libertarianism.

  45. 45
    Guido the IngSoc Troll says:

What’s so “bizarre” about “his views”?
Why is it suddenly bizarre to say that it’s alright not to like something?
It sounds quite normal to most people.

It’s weirdos like you and the other lefties who seem to think having a different opinion or just having different tastes is some kind of blasphemy.

When you say things like what you just did, then you are actively participating in the chilling of free expression, and actively enabling the police state to enter the mainstream.

Forcing ones reproductive organ up another’s lower digestive tract; or rubbing the extremities of internal reproductive organs against each other and then trying to dress it up as equivalent to the procreational processes it cannot replicate with misconceived notions such as love, and trying to artificially replicate and roleplay the associated biosocial structures of procreation that cannot naturally occur is a disassociation from reality; complex masturbaytion; and maladaptive behaviour, as well as being statistically infrequent – the definition of abnormal.

To not like it or the legalised pretence that something intrinsically and by drfinition abnormal, is normal, is normal; the opposite is Orwellian.

  50. 50
    Roger Helmet MEP says:

    How very dare you!

  51. 51
    jimmy lives says:

    Nope, you’ve misunderstood.

Freedom in this case means freedom of conscience. And that might include disliking certain people.

“don’t want gay marriage, don’t marry a gay” – usual, infantile liberal thought. Don’t want murder, don’t commit one etc could apply in every stupid case so is a meaningless argument.

For nearly the entirety of his first term as president (like 99%) Obama opposed redefining the word marriage to include two men. It’s a perfectly rational and reasonable position, consistent with live and let live.

Saying a man can’t hold a certain view though, just because you dislike it, is actually the opposite of the libertarianism, or even just freedom and decency. For a politician to say he can’t control the thoughts of people is a good welcome sign. The opposite, what it sounds like you support and perhaps even guido does now, is modern liberal-fascism.

Britannia is rather akin to a Lady in a Marriage where her way of life is constantly being abused, her views ignored and she is told she is enjoying being Ill Treated… Divorce the only answer, those who are misguided will hope to renegotiate but experience says a Bully will never alter their Dominating Ways… Dave’s pathetic renegotiation simply means more of the same, down the line… Divorce is the only way

    Farage should know better.

  62. 62
    Jim says:

It is the belief of our Politicians that Voting will return to normal in 2015, in which case this could just be for a year. I was hoping that they would have someone local in place but obviously UKIP have their reasons for this try.

    Agreed, a strong candidate.

Heard him on the TV recently, I think it was question time, he spoke a lot of sense and was a breath of fresh air when he spoke – hearing him speak really emphasised the tired old complete b0llocks that the LIbLabCon spout out, day after day.

The LibLabCon were running in circles and contradicting themselves when faced with plain honest speaking Helmer.

    Good on him.

But in the EU they are not called expenses are they !!

As you well know, every EU MP is entitled to claim an “allowance”, and they are all the same, whichever country you are an MEP from.

So this nonsense about MEP expenses is, well, nonsense, expenses don’t exist, its a flat rate “allowance” that everybody claims, whether you are LibLabCon traitors, or proud patriots like the UKIP MEP’s.

Why not? There is nothing to do in that so-called parliament. It does not make laws, it cannot block them, it cannot amend them. It is nothing but a third-rate albeit very expensive debating society and that is why if UKIP succeeds there will be NO British MEPs whether awake or asleep.
Do you know of another group of politicians who are asking the public to vote them OUT of a gravy-train?

Dan Hodges on Labour unity

“We’ve heard a lot over the past few years about how Miliband has united Labour. But he has not united Labour. He has pacified Labour. He has placed it into a medically induced coma following the trauma of the party’s 2010 defeat.”
