Paxman Quits Newsnight
Guido Revealed Katz Wanted Him Out Earlier This Month

Earlier this month in his Sun column Guido revealed that Newsnight editor Ian Katz was attempting to force out Jeremy Paxman.

“GUIDO hears the knives are out for Newsnight star Jeremy Paxman.

Ian Katz, the groovy former deputy editor of the Guardian now in charge of the BBC news show, wants to bring in a fresher face.

Who still tunes in to watch Paxo’s pantomime interviews, where he acts like an outraged great-aunt shocked by a politician’s lack of straight answers? Newsnight of the Long Knives, indeed.”

Today Paxo has quit. You’re either in front of Guido…

He’s better off sticking to Europe. Europe is ‘over there’ and people are happy to send UKIP representatives off to something they don’t care about or understand too well. But if you ask people whether they want a UKIP MP at their local surgery then they’d have to start taking it seriously and probably vote for a sensible party

In the interests of balance says:

This decision by Farage not to stand is terminal for UKIP. At last we see the stone lifted. At last we see the truth staring not only us, but especially Kippers, in the face: Farage cannot win in a safe Tory seat! Despite UKIP’s constant reminders that Tories are leaving the Conservative Party in droves to join UKIP, the reality is that only a few are minded to do that, leaving the vast majority of Tories in Newark still holding their safe seat which is likely to remain Tory after the byelection. Any further byelection anywhere else in the country up to the 2015 election will see the Kippers being hunted down and asked whether Farage will stand. If he says ‘no’ a second time, then all credibility will be lost.

So, 30th April 2014 is a good day for Britain! It is the day on which the slippery slide to oblivion began for UKIP

Ok, so I merely graze this wonderful site for a few months due to work and when I come back it’s all changed. It’s no longer being trolled by Labour per se but by UKIP. The difference? Labour were often OTT and occasionally funny but had some political angle. The UKIPpers seem to be rag tag of universally nasty, single minded, unpalatable bigots of the worst order. UKIP appears to have accidentally allowed the other, infinitely more coherent and credible parties to clean the Augean stables into Farage’s back yard. Never seen so much shoite in my life!!
