POLL: UKIP on 27% for Euro Elections

This morning’s Sun/YouGov poll has UKIP on 27% for next month’s Euros, just three points off Labour. The Tories are well down in third place on 22% and the LibDems are on 10%. As you can see by clicking the tabs on our interactive graph, the only redeeming news for Dave is that voting intentions for 2015 see much of that UKIP support in the Euros come home to the Tories. Faced with Miliband in No. 10, the Tories are on 34%, three points behind Labour on 37%. UKIP are on 12% for the general election, with the LibDems again on 10%. The poll was carried out on Monday and Tuesday this week – the ‘Tory establishment stooge’ attacks haven’t made any difference to voters…

Yes Guido, we know all this sort of thing, it’s been the same for quite some time, the big question is, how wil it transform into votes?. UKip seems to be a one man band, publicity machine and leader in the form of Farage, he seems to be a sort of Boris on speed (the mind boggles). Farage is going back to electioneering on the stump, I cannot see Dave or his little pals in the cabinet ever doing that, Farage does not seem to phased by anything. Politicos some how think they are above going to public meetings where they might meet members of the public with a different opinion or belief from their own, believing that they are a lower form of life. Politicians have got to meet the public other than own tight circle of school chums, go for it Nige!!!!!!!!

It is certainly worth voting UKIP in May to create this pressure at the very least.

      • 59
        jgm2 says:

Exactly. The mission is to (ideally) get UKIP into 1st place. The problem is that Labour have a core of 28% that seem immune to any other possibility other than voting Labour as seen by the Maximum Imbecile’s 28% vote in 2010. What this does mean is that the 2% above that are floating voters so, if UKIP can just nick that 2% off Labour then they’ll come 1st.

The momentum created by a third party finally breaking the duopoly of idiocy cannot be underestimated. It’s not that Tories and Labour voters might/would defect. It’s the 35% of people who don’t vote at all because of the futility of watching the two incumbent idiots slugging it out generation after generation has put them off the whole process. They might decide to give UKIP a chance.

Potential game-changer if UKIP can come 1st in the Euros.

Personally I do not know how he keeps up the momentum, he being the north south east and west of his party in the media while the others have at least five to six nationally known faces to plonk in front of the media on a shift basis . Plus he has just recovered from a major operation ( though quite when he managed to take the time out to do so is unclear ).

If Farage falls to illness or accident then ukip is nil because hey have no second layer . The odds appear insurmountable but ukip could surprise everybody at least at the euro polls.

Why, for the love of God don’t the Conservatives use their resources to explain to the public the realities of politics.
The vast majority have no interest in politics. Most people who vote Labour have vague notions of it being for the interests of the working man.
The Labour party are dangerous Marxists who, if unchecked, will plunge this country into a Communist Police state.
They believe in an ideal which always fails.
Stop attacking individual Labour polices. Go for the jugular and treat them as zealots who destroy the social and economic well-being of nations.
They destroy productive capacity and need to have a welfare dependent, non productive core to maintain power.
Present a clear choice. Either a nation of confident, thinking individuals with a healthy attitude towards work and contributing to society or a nation of welfare dependent zombies with no work ethic and an exaggerated notion of unearned entitlements.

      Also, Labour are Hunts.

Dear Dave, most know that there is no possibility whatsoever of the EU modifying their rules and regs. to suit the UK. Since that would open the floodgates for any and all alterations desired by other member states. If it could be done, you would have had done with it by now. Rather than keep on parroting ‘tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow’. So why not declare a referendum, but have YouGov perform it rather than the people? That might at least resemble something more akin to democracy by proxy, than the unrepresentative republic we currently live in.

We get the promise of a repeal of an ocean of bad bad Lierbore legislation – we get none of it, on the contrary, we see more of the same – nannying and bullying, exactly like the socialists – government by minority pressure group over fags (even harmless e fags, which can save millions from tobacco if left alone), internet censorship using the porn/terror bogies, mutterings about criminalizing “buying sex” (if that’s a problem it’s largely due to massive uncontrolled immigration created by the sanctimonious politicians themselves) – think of the children.. blah blah.. We get no promised “bonfire of the Quangos”, bringing an end to the march of the relentless prodnoses who were given their head in the Labour terror. We get the same Police state, with Dave resurrecting Labour’s snooper’s charter which he was so against in opposition. We remain the most spied upon nation in the western world. We get the same old cruddie nationalized health “service”, which kills its customers. We get legislation to imprison parents for not encouraging their children enough – from a so called Tory government – that is light years worse than the comparatively petty issue of “gay marriage”. We get the disabled English persecuted over their pitifully small benefits, when billions gets sent to corrupt fat despots abroad (including the corrupt fat despots of the EU). We get an nastier deficit, and a sclerotic recovery even Milimarx could probably have presided over. We get more interference in foreign conflicts, with Dave gagging to get our troops into Syria and maybe the Ukraine too. Does he want a Falklands factor to save the Tories in 2015? We get the same MP troughing.

So – what, any “Tory” boys out there, is the big difference if we “let Miliband win” by voting for a party which represents us and not the Westmonster mafia?
Sure, Labour are treacherous, totalitarian neo communists – but the Tories are worse, hypocrites – treacherous, totalitarian, neo communists, pretending they are something different.
