What I want to know is where was Dynamic Dave and Teddy Boy Milli, a forw way fight might have been more interesting. Just imagine, it might be a bit like a 4 way wrestling match, you know a fight where no one really gets hurt until one of them starts to fight dirty then it gets serious, and one or more of them get hurt. It gets a bit boring when they start trading facts and made up facts at each other. To be honest I could not be bothered to watch the pair, it should have be at the weekend when it would have been marginly more interesting than the rest of the offerings on the lantern.

If there were four of them then three would have talked over Nigel to prevent any possible broadcast of an alternate message. The three main parties sent in their debating champion and a (for him) subdued Nigel kicked his ass. I felt that Nigel was a little too polite with Clegg, allowing him to complete his soundbites of tractor stats uninterrupted when no such consideration was given by Clegg.

Rubbish as ever. ‘A person who is out of work for more than 3 months is not a ‘worker’ and should not be entitled to EU free movement rights..’ So if a person in Manchester loses their job, is out of work for three months they are no longer a worker and entitled to move elsewhere to seek work? What next. You can only have free movement if you are skilled? How many skilled persons are needed in Lincolnshire to pick the crops then? Or what also is said, you can not move unless you have an income of £18,500. Not many on Job seekers have that type of income. So your idea is they could not move. Strange policy you have. But then, UKIP just are there to make headlines, the substance is always missing.

The issue isn’t if we are better off in Europe or not.

The issue is that the rich European political elite don’t want the plebs to have a vote on a United States of Europe, especially after the French and Dutch had one and voted against it, but it was ignored any way. They want it and by fuck you are going to have it! No referendum, no democracy!

It was lovely yesterday to see, when they were talking about the wrongs that Putin had committed in Crimea, the 2 democratically elected European officials, rumpey and Baroso along side the democratically elected president of the United States of America. You couldn’t make it up.

At least Putin was elected and he had a referendum!

Herman Achille Van Rompuy is the first full-time President of the European Council, which is the institution of the European Union comprising the heads of state or government of the EU member states and he is not elected , just appointed.

José Manuel Durão Barroso is the 11th and current President of the European Commission and not elected, just appointed.

It’s a bit rich for the Europeans to go around lecturing other countries on how to behave and democracy.

Just one of the many reasons why the general public detest this undemocratic European juggernaut.

Any politician today only supports the creation of a United States of Europe because Europe pays them very well indeed if they help to secure their federal Europe goal, no democracy just bribes.

Clegg would not even engage or look at Farage during the debate. What an absolute arrogant Europhile, just like all the other Europhiles.

He is clearly destined to become an EU commissioner and join that lovely band of European gravy train commissioners with all those benefits, pensions and expenses. You know the benefits, the ones they are cutting back on for the plebs in most EU countries like Greece, Spain, Portugal,Cyprus etc. Not to even mention the benefits for becoming a Member of the European Parliament. But of course you can only become an MEP in any country if you already support your party’s line and the line of the EU, in the creation of a Federal, United States of Europe, NO DISSENT IS ALLOWED.

Not one of them is fit to be called a democrat and that includes Cameron and his so called Tory party.

The EU is an absolute insult to the millions of soldiers and civilians who died in the 2 world wars to uphold DEMOCRACY.

What a farce when the politicians line up at the Cenotaph every November to pay their respects to them, whilst shitting on them from above from a great height.

DEMOCRACY is great as long as it’s their version of Democracy and not the peoples.

The man needs staking out for this lie. It has been evident for years that more than half our laws are made in Brussels, it’s why the MPs don not need more money as they only deal with the paper clip and rubber ands stuff. Perhaps the BBC could investigate the truth and we could be told. Perhaps not.

It is probably not true that Europe is our biggest market. This anomaly appears because vast quantities of our exports are routed through Rotterdam for onward transmission to their final destination. However, all this shows up on the stats as ‘exports to Europe (EU)’.

Time this fucking myth was busted once and for all.

Same goes for our stuff exported to the Pacific islands. It is all routed through Australia – so the stats show up as nil UK exports to eg Fiji, Tonga etc, despite the shops selling quite large quantities of goods made in the UK.

Oh dear me. Go to Southampton, or Liverpool, or Felixstowe. Look at the container boats leaving those ports. A product made in the UK and sold in china is recorded as an export to China. Not a product made in the UK is sold in China and recorded as an EU export. Sadly, if you look at container boats coming into those ports from China they are full. Going back out, they are nearly all a third full at the most. That is the economic problem Farage does not understand. His talk of trade with other nations outside the EU is ‘pie in the sky’. Most countries outside the EU do not need British goods. They do not buy British goods in the quantities needed if the EU was not our main trading block. Even Mini cars sold in China are made by a Chinese company, Najing Automobile. Made in Britain and exported from Britain as a BRITISH export. No myth, pure reality. Farage can certainly pull the wool over some peoples eyes. danger being that too many just accept what Billy Liar says and we leave Europe. But please…get your facts together…’However, all this shows up on the stats as ‘exports to Europe (EU)’…. enough bull shit produced by UKIP as it is.

I thought the debate was about the EU. As usual with Farage and UKIP, once they lose the argument they turn to other issues. First migrant workers and they lose that argument too as migrants contribute more than they take as supported by the facts not UKIP fiction. Then they have a go at human rights and they lose that argument because Farage just waffles generalisations and prejudices, so they then talk personality, just what Farage accuses Labour, Lib dem and tory of doing, so it shows UKIP as no different only worse as at least the Tories, Labour and Lib Dems get the facts checked before spouting them off. The debate deteriated once farage realised that what he was saying was also being checked and so he attacked Clegg rather than having a debate over the EU. Man is clown that fools too many. First rule of debate, either involved in it or listening to it, is TO GET THE FACTS.

Wrt the contention that migrants contribute more than they cost. Even if they contribution were on a par with what they cost, Nigel Farage’s proposal for a work permit would ensure that they contribute many magnitudes more than they now do (since we’d be getting the best people in the world – especially meaningful if these decided later to apply for brit citizenship).

BTW, I don’t think Farage or anyone should take any notice of the likes of Clegg when he was claiming the high ground on being sole purveyor of unalloyed facts.

Only a couple of months ago they were desperate to get Ukraine to join their corrupt little club (how much more would that cost us , when Dipstick Dave gets out OUR public cheque book again ?)

They moved straight in there after Putin moved into Crimea and started the process
Where will that leave these fucking idiots if Putin decides to take a bit more ?

I cant understand why Ukraine hasn’t demanded that all these tough talking countries who promised to protect it , in return for nuclear disarmament step up to the plate and honour their commitments
    As Below

When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, the newly independent Ukraine had on its territory what was the third largest strategic nuclear weapons arsenal in the world. It was larger than those of Britain, France, and China combined. On June 1, 1996 Ukraine became a non-nuclear nation when it sent the last of its 1,900 strategic nuclear warheads to Russia for dismantling.[1] The first shipment of nuclear weapons from Ukraine to Russia (by train) was in March 1994.[2] In return for giving up its nuclear weapons, Ukraine, the United States of America, Russia, and the United Kingdom signed the 1994 Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances, pledging to respect Ukraine territorial integrity, a pledge that was definitely broken by Russia’s 2014 invasion of Crimea.[3] However, there is a dispute whether Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances is anything more than a general statement of intent, lacking the rigor of an international treaty and accompanying ratification procedure

Fast forward a few months and things have suddenly changed.

We are told that the country should really turn to the West and needs to address its corruption.

A democratically elected President fled the country in fear for his life.

A former President imprisoned for corruption was mysteriously sprung from prison the same night without even a semblance of a Court Appeal Hearing to establish her innocence.
