Oh, there is no lack of those! Especially within the (predominantly or entirely) public sector Unions, there is now a near-enough complete occupancy of senior positions by Communists, mostly self-confessed.

I saw it coming when I was in the Civil Service, and have always realised that I got out just in time.

While the loss of anyone is a sad occasion in one way or another, and despite the efforts of the odd commenter, ultimately this might well result in more positives than negatives, depending to a significant extent on who will be the Union successor.

Pals. You clearly have absolutely no understanding of WW1.

In WW1, Britain sent 10 million men. 1.6 million of them were killed. A mortality rate of just over 1 in 10, which meant you had almost a 9 in 10 chance of coming home as a soldier in the trenches.

On the other hand – we had 126 Generals and two Field Marshals in WW1. And 60 odd of them were killed on the front lines, including Field Marshall Kitchener. Nearly 1 in 2. You had nearly five times more chance of surviving as a soldier than as a General.

So do shut up about this posh generals crap. You clearly have no idea what you’re on about.

Bob Crowe never went to work. As soon as he wangled himself the position of Union convener, he trousered the membership’s subs and lived high on the hog at their expense.

Say what you like about Bob Crow. His job was to ensure the welfare of his members. Under his watch London tube drivers get over $52,000 per year for 32 hrs per week and redundancies have been minimal. The Labourites, Lib-dems and Tories want lots of cash for themselves but want others to earn 7.20 per hour.

      WHY WOULD YOU MODERATE THAT!

sorry mr plod that the leaky feeders stopped working on the 7th of july 2005. we know you borrowed well over a billion quid from the bank of america to have the t.e.t.r.a. communications system fitted on the london underground and it was meant to work in the event of an emergency such as those that happened on said day, but it didn’t. but on behalf of b.o.a. and fluor and motorola… thanks a bunch.

thanks for covering up the fact said t.e.t.r.a. system (which was fitted several years before 2005) easily has the capacity to allow commuters to use their mobile phones. afterall if the public knew that back in 2005 they might have questioned if the devices that went off were remotely detonated. can’t have that can we?! very handy that there was that “visor” training operation going on the same day and very handy that somehow ben neetanyahu was warned to stay in his london hotel.

oh and finally let’s not mention those towelheads who got slotted trying to attack canary wharf- because if we had allowed that to happen then the capless pyramid that the underground and bus bl4sts shaped on the map would have been fucked. we like our little occult symbolism!
