London Lobbyists Landed Millions in Filthy Ukrainian Lucre

Lobbyists and spinmeisters who coined it on the back of Viktor Yanukovych’s authoritarian Ukrainian regime are getting jumpy. Meet James Wilson, a leading light at city spin shop FIPRA (Finsbury International Policy & Regulatory Advisers) who looks after firm’s Ukrainian clients. Oddly enough Wilson’s work at FIPRA Ukraine is not declared on the EU Transparency register. That despite FIPRA’s own website confirming that he is in charge of spinning for the Federation of Employers of Ukraine, who are backed by Yanukovych ally Serhiy Kurchenko, one of only 18 Ukranian kleptocrats to be hit with an EU asset freeze and travel ban. Possibly to do with him defrauding the Ukraine’s coffers of more than $1 billion…

Wilson is listed as a representative of the innocuous sounding “EU Ukraine Business Council” set up to “promote trade, economic and business links between Ukraine and the EU and initiate projects that contribute to the development of Ukraine”. The Chamber, whose offices are located in Viktor Yanukovych’s powerbase of Donetsk in Eastern Ukraine, holds regular conferences in the European Parliament, where it euphemistically claims to “help to solve market access difficulties”. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink…

Also among Wilson’s clients is shady pharma firm Alcon, who have been embroiled in several bribery scandals, to top it all, he also spins for the State Administration of Sevastopol – who have just declared independence from Kiev, backed up by Russian troops. Presumably they’re going to start paying him in roubles…

Lawrences murder was politicised from day one.
Black anger and lefties stirring the pot make for a heady brew.
With a potential for riots a distinct possibility it isn’t a surprise the MET had a guy on the inside.
In fact it would have been daft of them not to.

Of course the Met fucked up the investigation into Lawrence’s murder.
They had never seen a black man stabbed to death by whites before.
I’m sure they would initially have assumed his mate was lying(not unusual for bl*cks to lie)and Stephen had been killed by one of his own bredrin.

I had the misfortune to listen to Yvette Cooper on R4 late yesterday afternoon bigging-up the T May decision to announce a judge lead inquiry into the allegations of the Met spying on the Lawrence family with missives such as “we can’t just ignore these miscarriages of justice” and “we need to vigorously pursue the claims of malfeasance in public office” etc. etc. etc.

It is indeed interesting to compare Coopers opinions on this with Peter Hain’s reactions to the IRA “On-the-runs” that received pardon letters (get-out-of-fail-free cards) last week by simply saying “that was then but this is now” and “we have to move forwards and not reflect too much on what was done in the past” line of rhetoric.

        It’s absolute rank hypocrisy.

Flaw to the plan: If P’tin gives assurances that the oligarch’s interests will be secure any political support will evaporate very quickly.

One thing P’tin does understand is how to manipulate the greedy, and how to politically neuter oligarchs.

Such measures will help P’tin remove potential political enemies more easily.

What I do find amazing is the white working class STILL give their vote to Labour, I can understand them not voting Tory but why Labour? It was Blair and Brown that sold them down the river. They’ve been totally priced out of the jobs market.

you can legally employ immigrants on £1 a day (there are lots of ways round the minimum wage) and they can get their pitiful wages topped up with plenty of bennies.

BROKEN BRITISH POLITICS – WHY PUTIN HOLDS All THE ACE’S
Us and the USA privately tried to court both Hussein and Gaddafi the former had visited George Bush on several occasions .The USA tried to court Gaddafi but failed which initiated a cold relationship but the UK had a more amicable relationship .
Gaddafi supported the IRA at the height of the Civil Unrest in Northern Ireland supplied Arms and Money ,Hussein Gassed many of his Countrymen and the UK did nothing .So what actually tipped the balance on why both Dictators died within five years of each other at the Hands of the West. Firstly let us take Syria as an example we started the insurrection and supported it .Why ? Because Blair attempted to install the Western Banking system in Syria and Assad asked the BoE officials to leave .
America and the Saudi royal family made an agreement through Henry Kissinger that all their Oil must be priced in US Dollars in return for Army bases situated there for Protection .OPEC already priced their Oil in US Dollars .In 2000 Hussein announced Iraqi Oil would be traded in Euros .In 2007 Iran announced that the Euro would replace the Dollar in their Oil Transactions .In 2011 Gaddafi wanted to introduce the Dinar a single African currency made from gold . They would sell oil and other resources around the world only for gold dinars .
Putin has listened to the Wests feeble protestations and Sanction Action Plan ,waited then casually stated that Russia will Ditch the US Dollar and start Dumping USA Debt the same scenario as with Hussein and Gaddafi .In the Big World of Politics Russia is a Balance .I hardly think Putin will fall for any of the Wests Tricks and play up to the Tug of War Game over the Ukraine .The USA certainly do not want their Debt passed back .The UK Deals in Billions of Russian Money .Posturing and Gestures by the West .
