Has Dromey Been Telling Porkie PIEs?

20140228-084814.jpg

Earlier this week Jack Dromey insisted:

“During my time on the NCCL Executive, I was at the forefront of repeated public condemnations of PIE and their despicable views. I was then the first to argue that paedophiles could have no place in NCCL.”

Today’s dark revelations in the Sun cast doubt over the credibility of that denial. While Dromey was sitting on the NCCL executive, general secretary Patricia Hewitt put her name to a press release arguing that it was acceptable to have sex with children as young as ten. Recipients of the press release were urged to contact Hewitt for further information.

20140228-085229.jpg

Not only that, Dromey personally attended a meeting where the minutes of which show:

“It was agreed that our evidence should propose that if a partner in a sexual relationship was under ten, s/he is presumed incapable of consent. If the partner is over ten and under 14, there is a rebuttable presumption that no consent was given, but the defendant should have to prove that the child consented and understood the nature of the act to which consent was given.”

Which means that, far from taking a public stance condemning PIE as he told us earlier this week, Dromey was actually a member of the executive which called for the weakening of child sex laws. Hewitt has ‘fessed up and apologised for her actions. Is Dromey’s denial still really entirely believable?

Guido, a hypocrite? Shurley shome mishtake. Interesting to see the parallels between civil liberties and libertarians. Guido stopped being a libertarian years ago. About the same time he became a muck raker for the right-wing press. When he realised toffs can take as much drugs as they like, regardless to laws, he shifted his sights to taxes. Less taxes mean more drugs. The fact that his old libertarian groups were full of the same perverts as NCCL is of no consequence because no one will be voting for Guido at the next election. Guido’s fan-base are blinded idiots of the torch and pitchfork variety.

    She finished by saying that:

‘The proposal to reduce the age of consent was not mine – it was the policy of the organisation and its executive committee at that time. I do not support reducing the age of consent or legalising incest.’

Nowhere does she say that she did not support reducing the age of consent or legalising incest at the time, meaning that in the past she did.

Of course she could not credibly deny that as it was the policy of the NCCL executive committee of which she was the chair at the time and has stated.

H’arman and D’romey were also members of that executive.

Yet she is a non-exec director of BT. Are we to understand that she’s unable to get a mobile phone or internet connection which works when she is ‘away’? And where has she been? Maybe the BBC could investigate this – are BT services rubbish, or are BT’s Board members so tech-illiterate that they can’t use a mobile phone?

Dromey was also one of the union leaders at Grunwick, Labour Party Treasurer when money was coming and going he didn’t know anything about and has been tweeting to Male Prostitute sites.
