EU’ve Got to Be Kidding
Botched Spin Job Lets Cat Out of Bag

Well done Bjorn Kjellstrom, Head of the UK Office of the European Parliament, for helping the Eurosceptic cause no end. While berating British journalists in a letter for not correctly reporting EU matters, the grumpy Swede has let the cat out the bag: “not all citizens are aware that possibly a majority of the laws that have an impact on their daily lives are decided on by MEPs in the European Parliament.” Something swivel-eyed Europhiles always try to deny…

Come all the electorate throughout the UK
It’s time to ignore what the LIBLABCON say
Lets face it these parties have all had their day
      Our politics need rearranging
So go out and vote UKIP lets sweep them away
For the times they are a changing

Not one of them listens to our point of view
They’d sooner give our cash to the EU
So lets kick them out and try something new
We can’t afford this lot remaining
      Political rethink is long overdue
For the times they are a changing

They lied about Lisbon and promised a vote
There all Europhiles and in the same boat
Their treachery just bring a lump to my throat
As each other they just keep blaming
So send them a message and let them take note
That the times they are a changing

We will no longer tolerate lies being told
Tax breaks for the rich but more tax for the old
Ruled from the EU and our birthrights sold
They ignore us when we are complaining
If we all vote UKIP their out in the cold

Cameron is in an utter panic and will say anything in the hope it might get UKIP supporters to return. Firstly he cannot discriminate against Romanians/Bulgarians so any action he takes MUST apply to ALL immigrants and possibly UK citizens. Failure to do so would be deemed racist. Those from the EU have a legal right to all benefits available to our own citizens. Secondly the Children’s Act would make it illegal not to offer accommodation to families regardless of where they come from. Thirdly and something I am sure he will evade in his next speech is the fact that if he makes social housing unavailable for families he MUST put families up in the private sector for which the tax payer will be funding. Stand by for yet another speech of useless propaganda and phoney sound bites.
      UKIP was right all along.

Straight from the horses mouth. Our Parliament is not only mostly redundant when it comes to the amount of laws we are affected by, but they are subservient slaves to the EU masters too. hence why the vote about deporting foreign criminals was such a sham. Parliament does not have the sovereignty to decide such measures and it is a travesty that it doesn’t.

Our MPs have effectively nothing to do; and that explains why they have so much time fiddling expenses and buying and selling second homes at huge profit, with our money. But, I’d say the MEPs are not much different; they are, as Unbelievable says above, hardly anything more than a rubber stamp, giving a facade of democratic process. There is nothing, absolutely nothing democratic about the EU. In fact, there is nothing democratic about Westminster, these days. Playing the game according to the rules of the socialists, carpet-baggers and mountebanks who infest all levels of government, is a surefire way to continue along the path to slavery. For those who want enlightenment, Ayn Rand Atlas Shrugged, and FA Hayek, the road to serfdom, are a must read.

Most MPs only have 2 jobs. One is voting fodder for rubber stamping gold-plated EU directives in the Commons. The other is as a signpost for constituents, telling them which unelected unaccountable quango now has the power over any given policy implementation, that MPs used to have.

Other than those, MPs have nothing to do.

He was environment secretary when the EA, DEFRA and the EU were implementing the policies of removing flood defences across the Levels to deliberately ensure that the Levels would flood. Miliband, Baroness Younge et al, effectively “put the plug back into” the Somerset Levels “bathtub”

We have to obey far more EU laws than Norway does. And we barely get any say whatsoever anymore. Basically we get 7% of a say over our own laws, and even that 7% is mostly ignored.

Outside the EU we will only have to comply with the EU laws as regards to the single market. Much the same as Mexico does. But we would be much more free to decide our own laws. We can still have the EU laws which serve us. We just will have MPs pass those laws in the commons for the good of Britain, instead of rubber stamping them on behalf of the EU. What EU laws do not suit us can be abandoned and we woud be free to have laws which serve the British.

The real admission is that the EU has neglected to manage it’s own PR and by dodging from that issue many people in Europe have become independently aware of its nature and have formed their own opinion.

Because that opinion is decidedly negative towards the EU (and in most cases rightly so) the EU now seeks to regain the narrative by asking journalists to broadcast their propaganda.

The fundamental point which is overlooked above, and which the people are aware of is that any attempt to recapture public opinion in favour of the EU, even if the EU were to start helping old ladies across the road gratis, is that there exists no political union between member states, or legitimate demos in the core institutions.

This is an attempt at Soviet re-education light.

Come the General Election in 2015, realise that there is no point in voting for any of those three major Political Parties that want to remain in the EU-Forever. They have kept us all in the EU since 1972/3 so why do you keep voting for them? All you have to do is use your vote-so none other can use it- and place your cross by any Political Party or Organisation that wants out of the EU. It matters not if none has ever ‘Governed’ before, for lets face it, those that have been in “Office”, have only obeyed EU Orders anyway.

The UK would not be seeking to close the borders to all foreigners.

The only foreigners who should be rightly restricted are those without money or those who have skills which we already have in plentiful supply.
