Red Prince Stephen Kinnock has kicked back Guido’s exclusive revelation that the windbag’s heir sent his daughter to an elite fee paying school in Copenhagen:

“It is highly misleading to say that our daughter attended a private school. It gives the impression that she was going to somewhere like Eton or Harrow…”

His attempt at a get out clause is that the school is part funded by the state as well as from parents fees. Except the Ingrid Espersen Skolen describes itself as “a private school” and has faced criticism in the Danish media for it’s lack of integration with the rest of the community. “Such a ghettoised community is not just a boring society for the individual, it is also a society where social mobility stalls,” said an editorial in Politiken. He can dress it up all he likes, but what it comes down to is that Stephen Kinnock paid for his child’s education. Nothing wrong with that, though it might disappoint his father who campaigned to abolish private schools.

Coincidently Kinnock has rubbed up the locals the wrong way so much in his bid to become the Labour candidate in Aberavon that the left-wing Unite union have backed his rival the Oxford educated Jeremy Miles, despite Miles being a member of the Blairite Progress faction. The struggle continues…
