Quote of the Day

Government PPS Alec Shelbrooke responds to the Speaker with his characteristic diplomacy:

“Bercow needs to look in the mirror. Betty never had the need to resort to whining. His biased approach is why he’s lost control of PMQ’s.”

So impressed with the professionalism of these people – slating each other openly. So much for the glory of politicians.

Quite. Cameron, Clegg and Milliband should just turn around and tell Bercow to sort it out. He’s in charge.

If he’s lost control, he should go.

So that would leave Bercow having to do the dirty work of suspending MPs to get control, and the result would be that he’s likely to be voted out.

Not particularly good of the Tories. One speaker on sex charges and the other kicked out.

Cameron does seem to give Milliband a bloody nose (most of the time) so of course Bercow wants ‘them’ to calm to down… suits the cuckoo..

yeah pk agreed . but i m afraid the way libdems have handled floods etc will live long in the memory and currently we are looking at Milliband as the next PM dishonourably supported by tbe libertine Clegg ( whose allegiance shifting political drawers go up and down faster than a lady if the night on a VERY busy shift )

Admire a man who calls a Speaker a Squawker. I call it a Liberty!

It can’t do his “negative equity” character much good when he goes to work and knows that everyone considers him to be a slimy little oik. Broon the Loon’s little helper, (perhaps they could nickname him “lithium”). Then he goes “home” after a day being expectorated upon and even the dog pisses up his leg. Sad dwarf.

Mycroft says:

Have you read the last bit of Animal Farm?

You know where the animals are looking through the Farmhouse window?

My TV screen was that window at lunch-time today.

Be careful, the sudden self-congratulatory tone, the slightly pudgy outline of indulgence and you become exactly what you should despise.

The jolly face of the Quisling Cameron poses for your camera has mesmerised and deceived you, you who were once not so deceived.

You were no firebrand, you were a damp squib in my opinion, sorry.

You need a damned good kick up the ahse!
