As Guido revealed in yesterday’s Sun column, Dave’s favourite journalist, one-time Labour spinner Dan Hodges, is working with Andrew Mitchell on a tell-all book about Plebgate. No doubt he’s come up with a new theory to solve the mystery of what happened once and for all: it was all Ed Miliband’s fault.
The Tories are also concerned about the detailed notes taken in meetings by Sayeeda Warsi, who is still bitter after being moved sideways to the dreamt up job of ‘Minister for State’. Some well-timed diaries from the bungling baroness would be spicy enough to have publishers drooling. And there is growing speculation that Lord Ashcroft will publish his Cameron biography with Isabel Oakeshott before the election, not after as originally planned. Anyone else want to have a go?
