Quote of the Day

Nick Clegg’s former aide Bridget Harris quits the party over its handling of the Rennard scandal:

“You go into politics and you accept the notion of a collective agreement for the greater good. After the 15 years I worked in the Lib Dems I realised there is no greater good, just everyone doing a s**t job.”

    The missing letters are IT.

Coincidentally another place where they are doing a shit job. But not nearly as bad as the main chance.

Respect for Bridget for being the only soul who still regards principles as important in the LibDems.

Hogie – have you checked out the pigs I spoke to in London in October 2013 – who within 2 days ‘closed down’ my lawful complaint and move to have McBride indicted for multiple acts of criminal activity?

Or that the said pigs – failed to inform me of their within 2 days closing down – for over 2 months and who were told in polite terms / ordered to reopen their investigation – but who have since ‘practiced silence’?

I am utterly horrified and astounded by the accusations of sexual harassment against women by Lord Rennard. I had absolutely no idea there was a heterosexual in the Liberal party.

Damian McBride writes in the epilogue to his memoir…

“At the time of writing, nine months from the election, I’ve concluded that Labour currently has no positive messages to communicate to anyone about why they should vote for the party, no policies which will persuade them, and is being run in a totally dysfunctional way.”
