Cool Clegg Down With the Kidz

Either very late or very early for Ed Balls Day. Or some amusing retaliation…

UPDATE: The Son of Brown can’t let his Gordon’s favourite debate phrase:

  1. 1

Oh dry up you wet liberal.

The British media are cunts says:

More BBC lefty bollocks over Duggan, I don’t remember the BBC being outraged when a naked innocent white man was shot dead by plod nor the man carrying a chair leg.

Why is it always OK for the BBC to think that ‘efniks’ are a special case?

Oh and why did the BBC think it was worth telling us that Cameron thinks the current flooding is down to climate cange? Is he an expert on that as well?

David Cameron has a double first in PPE from Oxford.

I do not think they had climate science on the PPE syllabus back when he was there, nor do they have it now.

David Cameron is not qualified to speak with authority on such matters, or in fact beyond authority either. He has as much authority on this subject as a bloke down the pub, except said bloke is perhaps better company.

Waitrose, the overpriced supermarket for people with early-stage dementia, says:

+1 Today in Waitrose, bags of mixed nuts (which were £3.99 before Christmas and then £1.78 soon after) were only 78p. Schweppes 1ltr tonic water down to £1 from £1.20, and there’s a two-for-one offer on deodorant.

The downside is you have to push your way past all the Alzheimer’s patients who block the aisles.

        • 26
          Ed Moribund says:

That’s great news …let me write it down..
Now, if you would be so good as to report when those prices go up I can talk about the 100% increase in the price of nuts since 2013.

It beats having an economic policy!

          • Waitrose, the overpriced supermarket for people with early-stage dementia, says:

I might have been wrong about the deodorant – it could have been “buy one get one half price”.

Not that deodorant is on the average Labour voter’s shopping list.

          • Alan Chingachgook says:

            Labour voter’s list.

I cant understand why they are sold singly when people have two armpits.

        • 288

Waitrose is not for dementia patients, it is for those of us who have sufficient intelligence to be able to earn enough to shop there ,or as in my case, been prudent enough to make provisions for our retirement.

Lie 1: Three days before the election, David Cameron: “Any cabinet minister . who comes to me and says ‘Here are my plans’ and they involve front-line reductions, they’ll be sent straight back to their department to go away and think again”.

Lie 2: A month before the election, David Cameron: “Our plans involve cutting wasteful spending, Our plans don’t involve an increase in VAT.”

Lie 3: The coalition agreement: “We will stop top-down reorganisation of the NHS.”

Lie 4: The coalition agreement: We will guarantee that health spending increases in real terms.”

Lie 5: Two months before the election, from David Cameron: “I wouldn’t change child benefit, I wouldn’t means test it. I don’t think that’s a good idea.”

Lie 6: Michael Gove, just before the election: “Ed Balls keeps saying that we are committed to scrapping EMA. I have never said this. We won’t.”

Lie7: Liam Fox: “a bigger army for a safer Britain”, but it now loses 7,000 soldiers.

Lie 8: In October 2009 George Osborne said: Retail banks should stop paying out significant cash bonuses. A year later, he opposed an updated EU Capital Requirement Directive intended to limit them.
In 2013 he took a plane to Europe in bid to block a Europe-wide cap on bankers’ bonuses

Lie 9: David Cameron: “Yes, we back Sure Start. It’s a disgrace that Gordon Brown has been trying to frighten people about this.” Yet the government’s Early Intervention Grant means a reduction of £1.4 billion in the amount given to early intervention programmes. As a result,More than 400 Sure Start children’s centres have closed during the first two years of coalition government.

    Someone in the Guardian says:

Mad Frankie Maude in charge of checking contracts are value for money

National Savings Bank invite to tender for a IT contractor – In June it was £700m to £1.5 billion

By the time the shortlist for tenders was announced – Francis Maude approved new increased value of contract to £2billion

so actual cost to taxpayers is just about 3 times higher than the initial starting contract corporations were invited to tender for

If a council did that Francis Maude would be telling us it’s a disgrace

But that’s not the only contract that has tripled in size – after the public were given the contract figure

Yes Francis Maude has also overseen

Tagging Contract – companies invited to tender for a £1billion contract

When short list of successful bidders announced Mr Maude had overseen another magic tripling of contract value

We were told contract was worth £1billion – now it’s been changed to £3billion

So there is 2 contracts Maude is meant to have overseen – both tripling in value after the public announcement

    Answers please Mr Maude –

    Investigation please newspapers

Because if just 2 of the coalition contracts have tripled in value (during times of austerity) between invites to tender and shortlisting of very lucky companies

How many more government contracts is Francis Maude approving are tripled in value after the public was told the price?

        Keep Calm, Vote UKIP says:

They are a libertarian party: There are both right and left libertarians.

Seeing as the Labour have disaffected their libertarians, and UKIP need to win seats in Labour wards as well as Conservative / Lib Dem, it should perhaps be clear why they are going after the center left libertarian vote also.

Social Housing for a left libertarian is a hot topic issue. Really it is for the right as well, because it provides a mean of regaining direct control of housing benefit and reducing the burden of tax payers by paying over the rate to private landlords. It is importantly a socially and morally responsible aspect of general government policy that has been totally compromised by unfettered liberalism over the past 20 years.

Disclosure: I am very much right of center, but strongly believe that this particular aspect of left thinking – provided it is contained to appropriate cases and does not undermine regular private housing, or become a huge tax burden – I do agree with.

There is no fraud, but perhaps the rationale behind what appear to be mixed messages should be streamlined.

By-election in Manchester is going to be interesting…

Tiny bit left wing, but free meals for disadvantaged children is very much the right thing to do and is a good way to return tax £’s to those at the bottom end of society.

Why LibLabCon are not overtly championing this is curious. They obviously do not want to debate the moral implications of certain benefit cuts and spending.

    Penny appears to be dropping…

Vote UKIP – Get UKIP ?

The article does miss the simple fact when attempting to explain qualify the profile of UKIP supporters and voters.

As a hint: The majority of people across the political spectrum hold libertarian values, in particular a certain set of moral values. Because UKIP are an overtly libertarian party, which is not reactionary and very easy to identify with, now people are aware of it, they are gravitating towards it.

This really is signifying the real shift which is happening in the UK center ground: The age of liberalism is coming to an end having debased and corrupted itself into absurdity (this was a guaranteed outcome). This is giving way to a new age of libertarianism.

People should feel good about their political choices. UKIP facilitates that.

I should add, BW, stop and think for a moment about the claimed story with the Brazilian:

Brazilian electrician comes to work in UK.

Seriously. Utter b/s if thought about clearly for a few minutes.

Tomlinson did not deserve what happened to him, but even there, if the right people were in position, it perhaps may not have been the baton that saw him off. Especially if an EU agent or otherwise wished to spark civil disturbance.

          • Jean Charles de Menezes was admitted as a mistake too, though, as you have indicated. Whatever other irregularities regarding his visa, we would be shocked if a British national was killed in similar circumstances overseas.

The problem, it seems, is that it is more PC to kill some than others, depending on the colour of their skin. Back to your Common Purpose point.

I dare say the jury were misguided and would question the directions given to the jury – I don’t know what the judges final directions to the jury were but suspect that he may have framed it with a narrowed scope – but isn’t that what Hutton narrowed scope was all about – to distract from the hard truth.

The marxist socialists here in the UK and the ones controlling the EU – are attempting their last desperate efforts to create total chaos – this time round they are going to lose.

It’s East Germany all over again a la 1989 – when they just couldn’t cover up the endemic corruption from the top any more.

    • 126
      Not Blowing Whistles says:

You are likely correct about the jury and something is generally whiffy.

But looking at this objectively: What happens if there is no chaos but lots of indignation ?

Fighting the wrong battle could set back some aspects of civil rights, especially at an odd juncture such as now. Do the supposed supporters of Duggan not realize they are on lose lose ?

What strikes me is that this situation has bypassed the fighting for justice bit and gone direct to simply fighting. If that fight is not just, then unjust consequences will be felt.

The left for sure want things stirred up. It is time their wings were clipped a little.

The left don’t want to stir thing up as such. They just want to keep their core voters onside.

Sadly, it seems far too many ethnics think it is OK to glorify a promiscuous drug dealer and gun toting gang member. An unlikely hero to most of us. Presumably they consider themselves so far outside the law, white law, that white laws shouldn’t apply to blacks.

        • 169
          Blowing Whistles says:

The laws are not being applied – because the legal fraternity are basically a marxist bunch of tyrannical mobsters – who have ove rthe reign of terror become the mob that you cannot see because of your ‘blinkers’.

          Not Blowing Whistles says:

You have hit the nail on the head.

So – why do they feel that way ?

Collectivist multi-culti – the rac!st version of multi-culti which enforces division and celebrates diversity is the primary reason.

The folk you class as ‘ethnics’ don’t feel they should follow English cultural norms, and perceive using that division will be an advantage in their favor. Similarly, on the other side of the fence, people are blind to what is really going on in those diverse groups.

The individualist approach to multi-culti, where all are encouraged and included into a common cultural identity – in our case become English – will fix the problem for the most part.

          • Afrocutter says:

If ethnics don’t feel they should follow English cultural norms (ie normal civilised courtesy and behaviour), then they should just effoff back where they came from – and there they can practise whatever cultural norms may take their fancy.

Enough of this bleeding heart hand wringing. We need to start getting tough on all this politically correct garbage which everybody knows does not feel quite right.

    Wikipedia says:

    “Alleged criminal activity

Kelvin Easton and Mark DugganAfter his death Duggan was described as a drug dealer by the police and others, an allegation denied by his family and friends.[20] According to Tony Thompson of the London Evening Standard Duggan may have been a founding member of North London’s “Star Gang”,[21] an offshoot of the Tottenham Mandem gang.[22] Unnamed police sources alleged via The Telegraph that Duggan was a “well known gangster”[23] and a “major player and well known to the police in Tottenham”.[24]

Officers attached to Operation Trident had Duggan under surveillance; police stated that they suspected Duggan was planning to commit a crime connected with the death of his cousin Kelvin Easton,[25] who was stabbed to death outside an East London bar in March 2011.[26] Duggan was increasingly paranoid[27][28] as a consequence of his cousin’s violent death. The Telegraph alleged that Duggan was bound to avenge the death by the “street code”[25] of the gang.

Duggan’s family stated the allegations against Duggan were “disinformation”, stating that he was “not a gang member and he had no criminal record”.[29] Duggan had been convicted of cannabis possession and handling stolen goods.[30]”

I see that the BBC Ten o’ Clock News scum have an ‘exclusive’ interview with a ‘civilian witness’ who describes Duggan’s death as an ‘execution. They fail to point out, though, that this ‘witnesses’ evidence was rejected by the jury. It’s easy to see that the BBC, as usual, have taken a position on this.

Presumably the BBC’s new best friend was the one who watched the events from the 9th floor of a tower block – and stated that Duggan didn’t have a gun. The video from up there shows that from that height he would not be able to see into the car Duggan was in. Duggan would be obscured by the roof of the vehicle and it wouldn’t be possible tell whether he had a gun or not.
