Shamed: Pictures of MPs Laughing in Food Bank Debate

Shadow Work and Pensions Secretary Rachel Reeves was outraged at MPs laughing in the House when the topic of food banks were on the table. Outrage and hysteria levels are maxed out by Labour this morning:

Guido is shocked and appalled at how many MPs were opening laughing, jeering and giggling through the most serious thing ever to be discussed in this or any other Parliament. Here’s Reeves herself laughing away. Not once:

Not twice:

But three times:

Stephen Twigg found it all particularly funny, though was at least self-aware enough to try to hide his arrogant and belittling smirk behind his hand:

Permanently outraged Luciana Berger and Labour attack pup Jon Ashworth, who has been rather vocal about Tories’ behaviour in the debate, spent the afternoon chuckling together:

And look how much fun the usually sour-faced Shelia Gilmore was having:

Well it is nearly Christmas.

It was v1le Labour that wasted all the money and caused the food banks to be created. This Reeves woman needs a good stiff talking to.

They were set up to distribute food we couldn’t sell readily because it had gone past the “Best Before” date. It was supposed to be environmentally friendly back when Labour were in power, now it seems to be saving people from poverty now they are in opposition.

I have to admit, they do appear to be a bunch of lying two-faced pricks that will do and say anything to get a vote from the ill-informed.

Their fake, and hypocritical, outrage was something to behold. They also seem to be suffering from a collective dose of amnesia as anything that happened before the 2010 election is concerned.

Perhaps Guy would like to live on the breadline for a while, too? I’m sure it would do him good.

Ah the great food bank lie ! most like this one are run by Labour party members for a nice profit like the Trussel trust
‘ Over the last two years (2011-12) Mould and his wife have received over £150,000 in wages, salaries, emoluments, consultancy fees and rent payments from Trussell Trust. The rent payments go to Mould’s wife who bills the Trust for office space she leases to it in Salisbury. Mould has also set up a private company, Chris Mould Limited, through which Trussell Trust has paid him more than £30,000 over the last two years, for “management consultancy” services. A further sum of £1700 was paid last year to “Chris Mould Support”, “for the support of Chris Mould in support of his role as trustee”
Nearly two thirds (over £600,000) of Trussell’s income is currently being spent on staff wages, etc.’ each church has to pay £1500 up front for a franchise + an annual fee and up to £18000 a year in expenses!

            2012: £1,249,412

Pretty hefty percentage of that income going on staff costs.

Anyone remember the days when people who did charity work did it out of the goodness of their hearts as they wanted to give something back, rather than because someone was paying them to? Granted some still do, but far to many make a nice living out of it.

    serious question (yes, really)

I was shocked that there was a need for food banks, so I thought about donating. I understood that folks who were unable to get by on the money they get, could go and get some food to help. I mentioned this to my daughter, who promptly told me that to ‘qualify’ you had to prove you were on benefits. So, as I had wrongly assumed, it is not for folks who just do not have enough money to live, like some low paid workers. It is an extension of the benefits system, but supported by naive people like me donating food as well as paying far too much in tax. AND, I thought all the folks on benefits were better off than, say, a low paid worked with a wife and a couple of kids to support? Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I am puzzled why any of these muslims who commit such acts are even given a trial. For what I have seen of the defendents through carefully leaked footage, they appear unfit to stand trial and more humanely detained in a secure institution at Her Majesty’s pleasure for a lifetime of chemically-induced twilight bliss in a pool of their own bodily waste. In fact a good argument could be put forward that anyone who has an imaginary friend that tells him to kill strangers and denies a man a decent bacon sandwich is not, in any way, sane or safe to walk the streets.

British Public are tolerent by nature but even they can be pushed too far says:

The solution is easy if the political will is there and the BBC and Guardian can be faced down and it is simple…..in this country you live under the rule of law…British Law NOT Sharia Law and there are no “no-go areas” and it is perfectly legal under the law of the land to sell alcohol and for women to wear short skirts. There are of course plenty of countries that take the opposite view to which they are entitled but they are NOT the UK so if you wish to live under a different law then by all means leave.

Multiculturalism is failed policy not because of the indigenous “white population” but because some immigrants do not wish to live to the norms of UK society and ostracise themselves on purpose or even after 30 years living in UK some, usually female, cannot speak English..if that is the case THEN don’t come here you are NOT welcome but if you assimilate fully into our society and abide by our laws and live lawfully and peaceably and can speak English then you are welcome and are guaranteed religious freedom of belief under the law. Politicians of course dare not say this as our left wing media will attack them for saying it

Once upon a time being part of the left meant something principled and honourable. You stood up for the poor, demanded fairness and equal rights for all and objected to bigotry in all its forms. Now, being part of the left means being pro-islam whilst conveniently ignoring its creed of violence, misogyny and homophobia, being anti-patriotic to the extent that you actually openly call for enemies of the state to be victorious against Britain, and being two faced, hypocritical c-unts who caused immense poverty and then blame your successors for the mess you created.

The left in Britain are rotten to the core. And very, very smug with it. I’d laugh my fucking head off if Owen Jones or Polly Toynbee or any of these despicable monsters were to fall victim to a Michael Adebolajo type. That would be poetic justice.

Once that’s done, all whole life tariffs for prisoners will be restored, so that monsters like Ian Huntley can never be freed. In addition, I’d reform prison so that criminals don’t get TV, internet and DVDs as a matter of routine. 23 hours and 40 minutes a day solitary confinement for the worst offenders. 20 minutes for shower. Rod Liddle on the loony UN sexism special rapporteur:

“There is more sexism in Britain than in any other country in the world, according to a mad woman who has been sent here by the United Nations.

Rashida Manjoo is a part-time professor of law at Cape Town University in the totally non-sexist country of South Africa (otherwise known as Rape Capital Of The World).

Mrs Magoo has been wandering around with her notebook and is appalled by the sexist “boys’ club” culture here, apparently.

I don’t doubt we still have sexism in the UK. But is it worse than in, say, Saudi Arabia, d’you think, honey-lamb? Or about 175 other countries? Get a grip, you doolally old bat.”
