Video Says No

Labour’s digital strategy is still having some pretty unfortunate teething problems. For some strange reason they have had to take down this week’s big video by Miliband guru Arnie Graf from YouTube. At the time of going to pixel it is marked as private:

Guido understands it was BBC News boss James Harding who intervened over the use of BBC Parliament footage. Doh!

Have you ever heard or seen a right wing comedian on the BBC of late? They are all left-wing ranters and ravers. The BBC has become a willing mouthpiece for left wing thought. If you havent noticed this you are just a dullard.

Describing comedians as left and right wing is pointless. There are people who are funny and there are people who are not.

The fact is, the BBC hires a load of people who are unfunny. I don’t mind listening to a left winger who is funny: the trouble is that real talent is rare and the BBC does not hire much of it. Most people who work at the BBC who think they are funny aren’t and they protect their jobs and compensate for their lack of talen by following a formula which will ingratiate themselves with their bosses’ mediocre expectations and polticial biases.

    Dear Arnie,
Please understand that although we at the BBC fully support Labour’s election campaign we have to be seen to be impartial.
Trust me our methods, although subtle, are quite effective.
Look at how we’ve turned a chuck-away election promise by Ed Miliband into a major stick to beat the Conservatives over the head with.
Now we’ve even got the Tories chasing their own tail over this issue so
critics of the BBC will find it as hard as nailing jelly to a tree to prove our impartiality.
    As I said,subtle.
    Devotedly yours,
    James Harding.

    What a result !

Household debt in the UK has reached a record level, according to figures from the Bank of England.

Individuals now owe a total of £1.43 trillion, including mortgage lending, slightly above the previous high.

The previous record was set in September 2008, just before the effects of the financial crisis and the recession began to bite.

The part of the £1.43 trillion individual debt in mortgages is secured against an asset.
The £1.43 trillion debt is tiny compared to the unsecured government debt mostly racked
up by the ponzi labour louts. This is further dwarfed by the unsecured government debt which is quietly left off balance sheet. I do not for example understand why I as a private sector employee am forced to pay Council tax – of which I understand an average of 25 % goes to pay public sector pensions. The BBC tax is probably the same. This concentration camp country and the camp guards stink.

BUT is it really houshold debt?

Look at the UK “Blue Book” by SECTOR and think about the economy. How much of “OUR” debt is

      1) “Government Debt” (the mismatch between what is taken in from ALL sorts of taxes (income, corporation, NI, fuel/petrol tax etc etc) ~£450,000 million

      2) “Household Debt” (be careful on this one, it may not be what you think

      3) “Bank and Business Debt” (THE BIG ONE)

Ask yourself, “What exactly comprise these CLASSES?” How are debts allocated to these categories?

When you think about the concept of HOUSEHOLD you have to look very carefully at what it is technically defined as in our ONS and EUROSTAT data. You can’t just ASSUME you know. It is an accounting category.

When you think of “Government Debt” there is the money spent on salaries and procurement (think hospitals which procure goods (whilst in schools about 80% of their revenue goes on salaries). But what about funding PFI projects. Is that money borrowed on the markets? If so, where does THAT money get spent? Is THAT not going on the PRIVATE sector, to “preferred bidders”.

The point here, is that Public Sector WORKERS can and have sometimes been dumped upon, USED. They can be used as an excuse for Libertarian politicians to borrow money on the international money markets in order to pass that on to some favoured PRIVATE SECTOR groups for capital projects which are said to be necessary, but what if those projects are only necessary because the population has been INCREASED through massive immigration IN ORDER TO BORROW THE MONEY and build property and infrastructure at the expense of future generations and higher taxes and capital asset stripping?

Tony Blair threatens Ed:

“If you had a strong political lead that was combining the politics of aspiration with the politics of compassion, I still think that’s where you could get a substantial majority…  If I ever do an interview on [the state of the Labour Party], it will have to be at length…”
