Labour Delete Entire Pre-2010 History From Their Website mdi-fullscreen

Yesterday Labour loved the fact that CCHQ foolishly tried to delete access to anything pre-2010 from the Tory website. Never knowingly missing a bandwagon, they even sent out a press-release:

“The Tories are trying to hide from their own broken promises and failed policy. Rather than owning up to the mess they’re making of the economy and fixing it, they are pretending it hasn’t happened. This cynical stunt won’t fool any family suffering from a cost of living crisis. With hardworking people over £1,600 a year worse off under him, it will take more than David Cameron pressing ‘delete’ to make people forget about his broken promises and failure to stand up for anyone beyond a privileged few.”

Sheila Gilmore even put her name to this splurge of sound bites, but Guido is guessing she did not have a look at Labour’s website before she earned her brownie points. As you can see here, there is nothing in their News Archive before Ed Miliband’s “A New Generation” 2010 conference speech:

Labour have done exactly what they attacked the Tories for: trying to block access to embarrassing speeches, press releases from before the last election. What exactly is the Son of Brown so embarrassed about?
