The Council of Europe has sent a delegation to the UK to monitor our “democracy”. Embarrassingly the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities feel the need to talk to our very own press-gagger. At 16:30 this afternoon Sir Brian Leveson will meet a representative from Putin’s party and a German socialist, who will no doubt love picking his brains. That’s right, the delegation consists of Mr Alexander Uss, the United Russia Chairman of the  Krasnoyarsk Regional Legislative Assembly and German Socialist Party Mayor of Rheine Angelika Kordfelder.
