Zero Hour MPs

Labour are moaning about flexible working hours in the Commons right now.

Apparently working limited hours is very, very bad.

Unless you are an MP, of course…

    The Voice Of Reason says:

The lie of the Coalition – “the economy is improving”

Inflation is “3%” – many items are well over that, take out the untenable (in that they cannot last) retail sales and inflation would be well over 15%

    Wage inflation under 1%.

350,000 using food banks and growing every year under the Coalition.

People using Pay day loans to get by.

Retail sales dipping, manufacturing sales output going backwards.

But, if you’re rich, it’s great – tax cuts and bonuses for failure. Shares in the Royal mail making 50% more than the government’s idiotic price whilst the majority will suffer higher post costs, just like they do with all costs associated with privatised companies.

And austerity for the majority go on to ensure the rich get off scot free – NHS pay rises deferred next year, so those workers will be getting a 3 – 5% pay cut.

It’s all outrageous incompetence and malice against the majority from everyone’s favourite economic incompetences.

To underline this, only yesterday Osborne was giving a Chinese state sponsored IT firm carte blanche to put their systems into the UK – the Americans and Australians will not let them.

This country sold to everyone else, and the majority forever in austerity – that’s the Tory way

        Sheikh Basha Banka says:

Remenber this Government is now trying to make it harder for you to get pay day loans.

They want everyone to have a Bank account. Not only will the Government be able to see your every transaction but the Bank can charge you a fortune for overdrafts.

Err yeah…..’cos pretty soon they’ll infiltrate our national security with those Huawei smartphones sending information back to China.

The Chinese leadership might get a bit confused when they see the sort of cell phone traffic that occurs on these shores…pizza deliveries, cocaine requests, public sector workers calling in sick, gambling and people texting pictures of their cocks and balls to each other…

      REALWORLDER says:

The idea of allowing the Chinese government to take over IT projects must be the most idiotic thing imaginable. It does not require great knowledge of computers to realise that this must compromise the security of every system in the country.
The Americans will be even more reluctant to share any intelligence who could blame them ?

The Post Office sale was ordered by the EU, Mandy tried to kill the business because he knew it would never get past the Liebour corpse, remember all those nice posties ditching the mail, NHS why didn’t Liebour stop privatising it, tax cuts and bonuses, look at all the uncivil servant ones that they allowed, what about the MOD design and development section, sold for pennies to ex uncivil servants sold for millions, how about paying private workers pay rises because every time an uncivil servant gets one it’s extracted in taxes from the private workers, the country was sold off by Brown,Bliar and Mandy to the rest of the world in the 1997 to 2010 reign of terror, so get of your fkin high horse and look to blame LIEBOUR for your demise

Empty seats. Where are they? Can’t all be in their bars, or secretary shagging, dinner with a favoured lobbyist or friendly journo, off on foreign freebies. Not doing the job they get nicely paid for.

Cathy Jamieson MP, Labour’s Shadow Treasury minister, commenting on Treasury analysis of the economic impact of tax changes…

“If the Treasury is looking at the economic impact of tax changes, then surely it should examine the impact of the rise in VAT and cuts to tax credits? George Osborne’s £12 billion VAT rise knocked confidence, helped to choke off the recovery and has cost families £1,350 over the last three years.”
