Red Ed’s Reshuffle Progress Purge

Labour’s left-wards lurch continues. These moves are widely expected as of 15:00:

  • Jim Murphy – Blairite – DEMOTED
  • Stephen Twigg – Blarite – SACKED
  • Liam Byrne – Blairite – SACKED

Len is getting his wish. Red Ed is purging the right-wingers from his Shadow Cabinet.

As long as that prat Red Ed Miliband keeps useless twats like Balls and Burnham on the shadow front bench they are unelectable .They just keep on giving .

      • 37
        Honest View says:

They might be “unelectable” by you, but the Great British Public, as thick as ever, will cheerfully vote ‘em in, I’m afraid.

    Len McClusterfuck says:

      Uncle Joe says:

You sound like a Trot to me.
We have a file on you as well, lots of anti-social deviancy by the look of it.

  5. 5
Andy Burnthem (1200 deaths and counting) says:

Never mind the 3 stooges – Murphy, Twiglett and Byrnem – what about the man who did so much to remove old people from the NHS hospitals?

  6. 7

It’s a matter of time before I receive the call to become a Minister of State

  7. 8
    william says:

Go on, Ed, appoint the abolitionist of the economic cycle to your Shadow Cabinet team.

  8. 9
    fed-up in britain says:

  9. 10
Labour couldn't run a whelk stall says:

Miliband’s Marxist father would have been so proud.

  10. 11

Ed has the urge to purge anyone who has a different opinion to him.

  11. 12
    The voice of unreason says:

Just because you’re to the right of the left does not mean that you’re right wing. They’re all a bunch of lefties, just some are nuttier than the others.

  12. 17
The Last Quango in Paris says:

So Ed tried to persuade us that he’s not a Socialist by lurching to the left? Really sinister – and calling in attack dogs Prescott and Campbell too – This isn’t New Labour it’s very Old Labour.

    • 32
The door is over there >>> says:

Lardy was on the telly yesterday ranting about how essential it is that Leveson is implemented in full – “the version we approved in Parliament”. Get the popcorn in and stand by for some fireworks.

  13. 21
From Byrne to Burning Money says:

Byrne was one of the few people left in Labour who refused to spray money on social security payments.

Now Labour can go full on with pledges to reverse the coalition’s welfare reforms.

    • 24
      Milipede says:

I wish to refute Mr “Nasty Nigel” Dacre’s slur that Liam Byrne was sacked because I was told to sack him by my union paymasters. They did not tell me. If you love someone as much as I love the unions, then you know instinctively what you need to do to make them happy. And since the unions have made me so happy in the past, I wanted to give them a warm and fuzzy feeling too.

  14. 25

Jim Murphy was one of the Best he had. I can’t believe he has been demoted.

  16. 29
    Round the Bend says:

With Ed just acting as the middle man for McCluskey – what is the need for him?

  17. 30

The only difference between the two Labour gangs, is one lot play a longer game to socialist utopia, accompanied by an unctuous smarmy grin, the Blair model
The other lot are less subtle and prefer a more direct method through bone headed legislation , the Brown model.
Whichever faction gains power the outcome is ultimately the same ,a prolonged period of disastrous Government which after each time is more difficult to rectify .

    • 34
      Famines and Firing Squads says:

It all ends up the same way in the end.

    • 42
      tigerowl says:

So Labour rebuilds the schools and restores public service. This after every Tory period. The people at the top want less taxes and those who need the services need a Labour government. Choice at the next election.
Labour supporting and helping the people. Tories giving tax cuts to their friends and a few scraps to those voters rich enough to vote Tory.

      • 43
        REALWORLDER says:

LABOUR ARE A BUNCH OF THIEVING COMMUNIST C UNTS we all want lower taxes. The so called services are a burden on the people who work long hours and lose about 30% of their income to pay for them, without the onerous tax burden everyone would be able to save enough to be able to look after themselves, without being made dependent on the state.

  18. 35
Out & about with the Edinburgh dogshite says:

Lucky Dougie Alexander swings both ways.

  19. 38
    The Union Oligarchs says:

“The working class we’ll kiss our ars*e, we’ll keep our Red flag flying here !!”

  20. 40

    R. Miliband Shadow Minister for Families (Paternal, but not Fraternal)

  21. 41
    tigerowl says:

Lurch to the left eh? Who could ever guess that labour is a party of the left. 69 per cent agree with the idea of freezing fuel prices. Seems even the voter wants a lurch to the left.
Earth shattering headline eh Guido? Bet the Daily Mail is in melt down.

  22. 44
    Jimmy says:

Don’t worry though. I’m still here.

Mycroft says:

Have you read the last bit of Animal Farm?

You know where the animals are looking through the Farmhouse window?

My TV screen was that window at lunch-time today.

Be careful, the sudden self-congratulatory tone, the slightly pudgy outline of indulgence and you become exactly what you should despise.

The jolly face of the Quisling Cameron poses for your camera has mesmerised and deceived you, you who were once not so deceived.

You were no firebrand, you were a damp squib in my opinion, sorry.

You need a damned good kick up the ahse!
