Senior Labour Figure Backs Miliband Shock

No coincidence that seemingly every Labour MP on twitter is plugging this piece by Brown strategist turned spin merchant down under John McTernan this morning. Even Ed Balls has surfaced, sort of. Why? Well someone is finally backing Ed:

“Ed Miliband has been getting a lot of unsought advice recently, not least from my colleague Brian Wilson in these pages yesterday. My advice to Ed? Take it all with a pinch of salt – you are going to win the next election. The mid-point of this parliament has passed and the electoral settings are fixed. Labour’s dominance is secure… Voters want to believe that Britain can be great again. Emotional patriotism and economic optimism have been thrown away by the current government. They are there for the taking. Ed Miliband has the numbers, and the field is clear.”

Anyone would have thought he wanted a job…

E.Miliband has managed so far turn the media spotlight away from Labour responsibilities for the Economy crash, tax receipts drop, over enlarged tax funded government etc etc.

Then there’s Katie Price, aka Jordan, glamour model extraordinaire to “no one questions my word” TV show star.

But the elite are busily redefining patriotism as celebrating immigr4tion (everywhere else called e_t_h_n_i_c c_l_e_a_n_s_i_n_g_) and multi-culti nothingness, i.e unpatriotic things – pure 1984 style new-speak, and they are far more ruthless in demanding adherence to it than the old real patriots ever were – remember the hysterical reaction to any who pointed out what a crock of shit the olmypic opening ceremony was.

Sooner or later they’ll re-write God Save the Queen to omit references to the Queen but to celebrate feminism and immigr4tion – that day every guardian reader will be demanding all children are forced to sing it.

        Casual Observer says:

The NSDAP were the last lot to confuse patriotism with genocide.

The elite have already stated that multi-culti has been a complete failure. That elite does include Cameron himself.

In truth, the elite likely do not know what to do as a lot of their plans are unraveling so fast now that it is hard for them to keep up with their own propaganda, let alone maintain credible order.

It is time for the good men to step forward though and start anew. Repairing the damage that Politically Correct thought and the other dysgenic distortions the recent left experience has left in its wake is going to be tricky and psychologically brutal for many.

To use management speak, a return to a focus on core values is required. The largest failure of Cameron is that he subverted the Conservatives from doing this, and his miscalculations have only compounded the problems.

The invisible hand needs to be healed.

Miliband as a political force is dead, and for sure will be a very quiet footnote in history after the expletives describing the late Blair / Brown era have been written.

A fair point to make. But by transferring responsibility from the parties to the people in this way, surely you are making the case that the leaders of those parties and their supporters have failed to uphold the values to which they allegedly subscribe ?

In that case, ditching the LibLabCon for pastures new is the logical progression for this democracy.

Shame this bod can’t remember the Olympic crowds/royal stuff from last year, and the recent polls showing economic optimism higher.
Is this yet another case of the usual lefty, polar opposite trick, lies, or ignorance about the growing trend of the recovery?

Ed Miliband should also take heed of the way he ‘won’ the contest to become Labour leader. It was without any hard work to convince people in Labour that he was the ‘right bod’, and a poor showing while in government, and the voters STILL do not think him Prime Ministerial.

Rod Liddle on the loony UN sexism special rapporteur:

“There is more sexism in Britain than in any other country in the world, according to a mad woman who has been sent here by the United Nations.

Rashida Manjoo is a part-time professor of law at Cape Town University in the totally non-sexist country of South Africa (otherwise known as Rape Capital Of The World).

Mrs Magoo has been wandering around with her notebook and is appalled by the sexist “boys’ club” culture here, apparently.

I don’t doubt we still have sexism in the UK. But is it worse than in, say, Saudi Arabia, d’you think, honey-lamb? Or about 175 other countries? Get a grip, you doolally old bat.”
